4 billion years and no achievement?
I am a Science Fiction fan

So in my fantasy there is a way to make a better world.

I know my idea i neither new nor cheap.

Here it comes.

Looking back? year 2520 is now. The deserts are no longer a deserts. what happened?

Some political and economic ideas came to a change in the 2nd decade of the 21. century...

Energy, water, food and a lot of jobs....

The result of a gigantic investment.

The locations had to be examined. the best locations where prepared for some installations.

1. Step - Mirrors ! ???

What happens when you have a mirror in the daytime in the middle of a lonly desert?

nothing?

well you could do more than just 1 mirror. 500,000 and each 1,5 qm.

how much energy do sunrays deliver per qm and hour?

where did the mirrors point this energy? was it a weapon?

what was the result since the sunrays where deflected (at more than 85%) to the skies?

Some noticed a change in temperature, even winds occured.

how where these mirrors installed? how where they adjusted and moved?

Solid basement was needed, a mounting device, energy to adjust the pointing direction, and some cleaning even in case of a desertstorm the mirrors had to be secured.

2. Step - Energy ??

Solar collectors where placed instead of the first mirrors, and these mirrors where checked repaired or replaced and brought to places neighbouring the other mirrors around.

the whole area expanded week by week. More men where necessary for maintainance. housing, food and watersupply, fuel...

3. Step - Water ??

Water from the sea, the salt in it ...

Desalination, transport and cleaning

Water was use for cooling -> improving the effectivity of the colectors. Water was stored underground, Tanks of warm water and cool water where use to gain even more energy.

Water was used for the workers too. Washing and drinking...

4. Step - Food ??

Water was used for crop. Greenhouses between sections of the solar-colector-areals

Farmers working in the greenhouses were envied because of the cool and fresh air "inside".

Watercycles were closed inside to reduce waterloss.

5. Step - Export-Production ??

After 2 years Energy-levels were high enough to produce silicon from the sands around, basis for the internal production of wavers which where needed for the making solar-collectors.

Year 5, energy-level was sufficient to maintain a local desalination.

Year 8, aircrafts to import seawater, the formation of the first socalled Zeppelin-Fleet. They where not only capable of transporting seawater at low cost they even could be used to reduce large fires in europe and asia.


6. Step - Exodus ??

There are now voices calling for reduction of the Fleet because they would be no longer needed.
And still, plans are not over yet, 10 % of the fleet are under reconstruction to enlarge the amount of ozone in the polar regions.

25% of the remaining fleet is used to maintain seawater-import and salt-export of the former deserts.

50% will be upgraded with solar-collectors and create electro-static high energy fields to reduce the greenhouse elements in the air all over the globe.
