As time passes before me
Life has fled
Its time retired
I am left with the innocent embrace of the cold
The dimished motions of existence remain an engraved memory
The falling tears from the sky show no mercy for my sins
My thoughts are my grave
With a step closer
I am near to burial.
This light holds no comfort for me
This light gives no warmth upon my face,
As the abyss of my fate forms an ever darkened path before me.
But the hill is too far up to see
The last of the days'
Final rain.
