I suppose it's just because I'ma grumpy person in gerneral, but i just can't be bothered following it all. I don't really care what the zurg have to say or what's happened to santa. Bleh.

For those who don't know, i'm a cancer. And not just a cancer by title - i'm you're text-book typical cancer through and through ^^

So, here are some of my recent boredom cures

CANCER

I'm so bored it hurts

I'm so pathetic it's incredible.

I got one of those stupid letters implying that i had won tons of money. I find it amusing that it obviously works on some people.... never mind.

I'm a little concerned that they got my postal address, as it obviouslty comes from the net because it addresses me as Liza Chadow.

well, here it is with my adress taken out for obvious reasons.

I found this little guy in the bathroom today. poor thing, no idea how he got in there

so i took him out into the garden and got a piccy of him. isn't he cute? 4laugh

I collect old books - i just love them!!!

Here's an inventory of my books so i (and anyone who's interested) can keep track. i might try to get pics of them to upload.

A small, pocket sized leather bound booklet with a christian reading for every date in the year. My great great grandmother's

2) 'Prayers'
1904
Produced by the methodist church (as far as i can tell)
This one is interesting. It goes from speaking against the evils of reforming and altering the church, to a calender of appropriate religious lessons for every day, to specific prayers that need to be said at certain times.

3) 'Helps to worship'
1912
Written by various reverends
'A manual for holy communion and daily prayer'

4) 'Red letter Testament'
1904
This is basically an illustrated, colour version of the new testament of the bible. the exclusion of the old testament is a large statement. this is very dear to me as it was given to my great great grnadmother for her confirmation, and contains markings of certain passages.

5) 'Poetical works of alred lord tennyson. the albion edition'
1899

6) 'The royal star readers, sixth book'
1893
This is an A5, small, red text book, presumabley for sixth graders. it's in great condition, and is very interesting because the previous owner has done quite a lot of marking in it.

7) 'Short stories by modern writers'

this one isn't exactly in the 'antique' era, but ti's still itneresting and valuable to me. one day it will be ancient. and i am adding to it's memories.

8 ) 'The model classbooks of english. book vi'
1912
Chambers and Ker
Blacke and son limited
'words their correlation and use. northfield boys school, west ealing london'
Contains english and spelling excercises. in surprisingly good condition. A5 and red.

9) 'Essential tests in English. oral and Script'
1937
Another one that isn't an antique, and is exactly what it says it is - a spelling and grammar book. full of markings and workings. really good condition. 45 and orange.

10) 'the essential spelling list'
1958
another 'new one'. just lists of words for memorisation and testing, with a few markings. published in melbounre. A5 and blue

11) 'The pathfinder'
1961
I love this for the simple reason that maths hasn't changed. it's still as boring as hell, and i love that rules and tricks i thought i invented have been used by the previous owner of this book.

12) 'the oracle'
Currently missing!!!
A novel, teh details of which i cannot remember.

So, I realised last night that I'm not paranoid anymore!

I have no idea when that happened, but im certainly pleased about it!

I was trying to get to sleep last night, and i was laying there, facing the wall when all of a sudden i remembered that not so long ago i couldn't do that because i was terrified that soemthing would attack me if i turned my back. When i went to bed i had to position myself in some way so that i could see the entire room in one view. I don't even think about things like that anymore.

And i couldn't leave my bedroom at night without almost having a panic attack. the second i closed my door on the darkness outseid i would swear that something was just outside it, and i had only gotten it closed just in time.

Thinking back on it now, that was a really awful time for me. And, with the help of so many incredible friends, i dont have that anymore. thankyou all.

you've saved me from my own foolish terror!
