World Cup Interview - Spain (1st Round) |

By Da Mangaka
Spain is one of the main favorites to win the World Cup and where half my current money is going. Getting first in the Eurocup + practically prancing into the World Cup with a perfect strike, many where astonished (as myself) to see him loose against Switzerland. What happened? Fortunately, I managed to fetch an interview with him. Pretty nice fella
So... sup? What do you guys think about the game? Certainly was an interesting game, Hm? It was a little disappointing, but there's always next time! ( / smiles ) I won't let something like a match put me down.
*ehem* Anyways, Spain, you might know you are a fav team to win the world cup, does that bring you more burden? Also, what can do you expect of your next match against Honduras? If I remember well, he used to be one of your many colonies.
( / smiles ) It has been mentioned before. To be honest, it kind of does. Maybe people are expecting my country to win, which only brings pressure to the players. I hope they aren't too stressed over this loss.
. . . .
Ah, Honduras. . . ( / sigh )
Well, I can't allow former bonds get in the way of the prize. ( / smiles )On that little quick thought, we know that Romano *looks sideways to see if there isn't an Uzi pointing at her* is was your favorite charge, but, of the Latin American countries... did you have a favorite?
I love you all equally. Let's leave it at that, sí?
They all were quite a hassle, especially Mexico. ( / sighs ) Such a feisty pair.
Wild Mexico appeared. . .
You didn't have the pleasure of meeting my sister Antonio. . . so glad you didn't. . .then again... she's the one who made me fight for independence ; A;
A - Ah, Mexico. . ;;; That's right, I never did meet her. I almost wish I did. ( / crooked smile ) It's not nice to blame everything on your sister, you know. . I believe you had a rebellious streak as well.
W-well... y-you restricted me so many things D: And... and you said my best friend was a bad influence at the time D< I haven't seen Sun-Sun since you told me he was a bad influence
I am still waiting for him though. . .the boy with the scarf and the eternal smile. . .
E-er... a-and.. um... she's scary @ A@;
I see. Now, back to football, shall we. If you could play against anybody, who would it be and how would you defeat him?
( / chuckles; barely notices topic gone astray )
Mm. . . ( / taps chin ) I hear Brazil has a pretty good team. Maybe a match against them wouldn't be so bad. c:
Ah, how could I defeat the team? ( / blinks ) With the effort and practice my team has been putting into fútbol since the last time we played. It's all in the strategy, of course. Also, we can't let our ego get in the way of the prize. As we did this year. Again, there's always another match! How are things back on your house Spain? ' . ' Also, what do you think about Argentina's bet to the S.Americans in which, if he wins... he'll run naked all over his house? ( / sighs )
Besides the surprisingly intense rain in the North eastern area. .
My house is as calm as always, I suppose. ( / smiles )
. . . . The bet.
I wonder what I did wrong when raising that one . . Then again, I wonder what I didn't do wrong with raising all of them. ( / head desk )
I wish him luck. ( /gulps )
*overhears Da Mangaka* Um... Argentina. . .RUNNING NAKED?! Didn't he do that on the 60ths with Marado. . .oh wait.. .that explains a lot *head/palm* I sometimes believe Argentina is the b*****d child of America.
. . both annoying as ever. . .you can ask Chile about that
Argentina is rather arrogant... as usual *giggles* But what ever. ( / chuckles ) I guess you're right, most of them are. . I wonder who they got that trait from . . I hope Arthur didn't get to them. .__.
(/turns to Mexico)
Um. . . Your sister can't be that ba -
Wait.
. . You're telling me he did this before? ( / moment of shame for failure as a parent )
You don't remember? It was in the world cup I hosted. . .on the 86 actually (then again, in the 60s was . . I dun remember... eh) . . . he . . .ran naked on the Paseo de Reforma *head/palm* For the gods my sister and my father had. . . I don't want to see that again. . .
( / wracks brain for memory )
Ah.
So much for my attempt to forget that, eh?
. . . I wouldn't either, Mexico. I wouldn't either. Anyways, Spain, what do you think of the current champ, Italy? Ah, it seems so. . I never did personally congratulate him. Guess I can do that some other time, eh?
( / smiles ) I am very proud of them. Especially Romano ~ Well, we can only hope for the best for you. Anything you wish to add before you lea. . .what are you doing here Mexico? = 3=
Er.. I'm invisible. . .
yes... no more of Argentina and... *Shivers* ergh...
( / smiles ) Gracias.
( / taps chin )
Mm. . All I can say is, I wish everyone luck with the next couple of matches, and I can't wait to get out on the field again.
It was nice talking to you, Da Mangaka, maybe I will see you again after the match with Honduras?
Time to catch up on lost sleep, Adiós ~
@ Mexico
Some amontillado?
Seh, por que no? : )
Yup, yup, you'll have me the whole world cup. Thank you for your time Antonio, and good luck! because most of my money is bet on your team . . .
And then Mexico and Spain went out to talk. Hmm, it seems that the relationships between ex-colony and boss are rather good. Unlike others... but I guess that it's the peace from the world cup.

World Cup Summary - The First Round |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Opening Match - Mexico vs South Africa 1 - 1 After fireworks, singing, dancing and what not, South Africa was the first to score a goal against Mexico, who it seemed to be distracted about something. Nobody knows, but in the end, he tied the score at 20 minutes before the match ended. Sources state that South Mexico was still pissed and talked to him (read 'yelled' ) for having his boss around in a time of distraught. Nobody knows actually, S.Mex talks funny. However, S.Africa didn't have much to celebrate as one of the family members of his former boss, Nelson Mandela, died in an accident just before his match. Perhaps these two countries weren't exactly in conditions to start, but we all know the show has to continue.
Second Match - Uruguay vs France 0 - 0 A fangirl sought out match - the Master of Sparkles (who is unaware of them) and...France. France was world cup Champion on his own hosted cup back on 1998...and failed on 2002. Sources state that it was 'god's will'. However, we must remember on 2006 when one of France's players actually headbutted one of Italy's. Revenge for something? Nobody knows. Either way, France was so amazed at Uruguay's sparkles and Uruguay himself was too busy attending fans... so.. when they actually where going to play... they where on extra time. This match ended 0 - 0. Yeah... but the fans are happy.
Third Match - S.Korea vs Greece 2 - 0 "Of course I won! Soccer was invented in Korea" said Young Soo to the press quite happily, after he gave a gre...well, Greece didn't do much to defend himself on this first match of them.Greece was seen sleeping most of the first period and apparently awoke after the ball basically hit him on the face. When they told him that the match had started, was when he tried to do some effort, failing and falling asleep again. Sources state that Turkey is laughing his a** right now. Will this help Greece to find a motivation? In another news, S.Korea seems to have some sort of nervousness at knowing his older brother Hyoung Soo is also playing the cup. After the 'accident' between the two nations, there is still tension. But... we just hope it doesn't bring another outrage.
Fourth Match - Argentina vs Nigeria 1 - 0 The ever-loved, fan favorite, god-chosen (in his words) Argentina defeated Nigeria, but not as expected by many. People around expected Argentina to win, but the actions he was doing on the field where not Argentine. He himself stated 'Che, I mean... it's not like I'm giving my best right now... not with like... psh... weak countries'. Surprisingly, Argentina isn't a favorite to win the world cup, but, he is looking forward to beat the crap out of Chile and Uruguay "If they both manage to reach me...which I don't think they will Che"
Fifth Match - England vs America - 1 - 1 Protests and shows of hatred against each other was just what one expected from these two countries who where Brother and Older Brother in the past. America seems quite cheerful and with expectancies to win the world cup "This is quite a thrill, I have to admit" he told the press "I'm sad that I couldn't defeat Iggy though, but... he couldn't win so I'm happy with that anyways". Speaking of England, the press wished to have an interview with him but sources state that after the match, he went to a local pub to drink the hell out of himself, witnesses hearing 'Stupid America' over and over again. France is currently laughing at him. This reporter only hopes that England is in fit condition when he plays against Argelia next Friday.
Sixth Match - Algeria vs Slovenia - 0 - 1 By Lionessgirl
A Very Boring Match - the crowd started doing Mexican Waves 20 minutes in. Solvenia didn't create themselves any chances, just kicked the ball at the goal from a distance. Then again, Algeria wasn't much better, hanging around in their own half of the pitch...
Sevent Match - Ghana vs Serbia 1 - 0 Finally... another not ti- I mean. . . .seriously. Da Mangaka is getting a bit bored at this matches. And it's not because either team sucks doesn't seem to be playing at full, but the match was about to finish again 0 - 0 weren't for a penalty kick by the Ghana team, giving them victory. I wonder sometimes what things do they do to qualificate. In another good news, it's good to see an African team succeed on it's first match. We can only expect cool things from him
Eight Match - Germany vs Australia 4- 0 Only one expression can describe this match: MEIN GOTT! We could have gone for 'Crikey!' but.. no, it's mostly because Australia got uber pwnt by Germany and... surprisingly Prussia. YES! Prussia still lives and has gone to the field to prove it. The start of the match wasn't as slow as the other... 7, but it was balanced - Logan had many schemes under his..hat, pocket... nobody knows, but Ludwig is well known to be prepared for everything, and I do mean everything. With his star player Miroslav Klose, who's almost ....lawl, close to tie the world record of World Cup goals, the 1st half was already dominated by 2-0. . .but... again, MEIN GOTT... Gilbert asked for a switch and enter he did. The match became an instant blur of speed, rape skill on dominating the ball which made Gilbert give 2 goals almost at the same time. Sadly, Logan wasn't prepared for the old Teutonic knight... nor the fact that his main intention was to claim his vital regions. Sources state that Austria is in rather distraught and has sent Elizabetha to calm him down. . . Only time will tell. . . For now...this commenter can only say " OMG RAPE BY GILBERT! UBER ALLES!"
Ninth Match - Netherlands vs Denmark - 2 - 0 We could have thought that Denmark's axe could have worked for something but..it turned out to be ... um...fail. Yes, because you see.. the first goal wasn't from Netherlands, but rather from 'Denny' himself. It so happens that Netherlands was trying to shoot goal but instead hit Denmark's axe by the side, causing it to rebound inside the goal zone. Wow... uber fail. Now really, who allows weapons on the field? I'm pretty sure if Russia where here playing, you'd see him with the faucet... but that's another topic for Hockey... er anyways. On the second half, Netherlands assured victory by placing another goal (no axes involved this time) at only 5 minutes of the match ending. Well, it was semi-fail because Neth himself could have given more out...but, basically won due the Axe thingy... *sigh* This is a note for your weapon wielders: they tend to turn the back onto you. Sources state that Denmark is probably going to bring it again but.. for other purposes...
Tenth Match - Japan vs Cameroon - 1 - 0 While Cameroon really wants to win, Japan seems rather unsure of the reason he is there. The first half of the match was... perhaps more boring than Greece vs S.Korea. I honestly forgot to watch it. By the time I woke up, it .. .was the second half and Japan had scored. Seems that Kiku was rather unsure of how to play (which is odd...considering he was even a host with Korea some 8 years ago. . .) or rather ashamed of his game play... what ever was going on, by the second half, Camerun didn't want to go like that and tried to fight back...failing due the actually rather good defense of Japan. A surprise indeed. Perhaps Kiku was feigning indecision? We can't know... I think I need to catch him and claim his breasts get an interview with him. For now... we only hope he stops being so uke indecisive.
Eleventh Match - Italy vs Paraguay 1 - 1 Feliciano started rather wobbly, trying to conquer Paraguay thinking that she was just another fan watching the game, but when he realized it wasn't (and it was whom he was going to play against, not to mention that when he wondered how a 'pretty girl' would be playing against him, she became pissed) he started ... um.. yes, you guessed it, waving white flags. The Italy fans thought of this cute but it didn't turn as such when Elizabeth skilfully marked a goal. In an interview earlier, she wondered if he where going to pull out the flags, which prove to be true. She dedicated this goal to a wounded player who got attacked on January. By the second half, not showing much enthusiasm, Romano demanded asked for him to be exchange and so he did, penetrating the rather strong Paraguayan defense, scoring another goal and tying with a finta, worthy of the Italy brothers. Under the intense rain, we only hope that we find another excellent match. Will the Italians win another cup and defend their title..or will we see them waving their flags more? The white ones... I mean... Well, we only hope the best for both.
Twelfth Match - New Zealand vs Slovakia 1 -1 Da Mangaka again asks what the f*** is going on with this world cup?!. Yet another TIE?! But.. there was rather a surprise to note on this match: the twin brother played instead of the sister. Rumors has it that Zedediah came as quickly as he could to play, just for fun. That and after noticing how bad Australia went on his own match, he wanted to laugh on to something. So the 'king of Rugby' decided to step down to something 'less manly' and prove that he can defeat Aussie on everything. Meanwhile Natalie wasn't exactly happy 'It was supposed to be my match... not his... but I'm guess I'm happy. Next time, though, I'll take matters on my own hands'. Sources state that he's shoving his 'semi-victory' to poor Logan. . .somebody slap the guy 9 _9
Thirteenth Match - Ivory Coast vs Portugal - 0 - 0 *yawn*. . .another sucky tie. I just wonder if the rain has to do anything with how sucky they are playing. Seriously... WTF?! I got asleep again while expecting Portugal, one of the 'strong teams' of Europe to kick the a** out of poor Cote de Ivore, but, to be honest, she was playing quite well. Then again... I got asleep again. When I woke up, the stadium was empty. . . *sigh* I don't know why I even came to this world cup. We can only hope that the last match of today, Brazil vs N.Korea is at least interesting. . .
Fourteenth Match - N.Korea vs Brazil - 1 - 2 'QUICK GET TO DA SHELTAR!' was the joke among some countries towards Santos, specially from Argentina and Uruguay who expected an easy win for Brazil. Then again, none knew what to expect from a country whose secrets are even secret to himself. We tried to interview Hyuung, the enigmatic country known as North Korea, but he just managed to dodge me. He did encounter In Young on the way and. . .you could feel the tension between those two. Anyways, on to the match: it was... interesting: the Koreans (N. Koreans) had a strong defense which made Brazil enter into such a trouble, but that was broken on the 2nd half as he shot 2 goals against him. Not to be surprised, except that Korea replied with a goal of his own, sadly, too late to try to do anything. But this proves that even 'the god of futbol' can bleed. We can expect quite some surprises from the ever disciplined and silent Hyuung. Will they be able to repeat the last results of the first and last time they competed on the World Cup, by getting to Quarter Finals? Only time will tell . . .
Fifteenth Match Chile vs Honduras 1 - 0 By lionessgirl
Both Teams have made five fouls from the start but that's where the similarities end. Chile doesn't play gentle - they have the upper hand, and mean to keep it that way! They have the possession at the moment. Honduras would be quite good, if only they could get the ball out from under Chile's feet... This date has significance for both teams. Honduras qualified for their first World Cup appearance 28 years ago, whereas Chile's last win was the 16th June 1962. However, shortly after the match, Chile takes the lead 1 - 0 against Manuel. It's nice to watch High Tempo and action packed game again, unlike the France V Uruguay match, which was frankly, awful compared to this. Both Sides played really well, and it was good to watch.
Sixteenths Match - Spain vs Switzerland 0 - 1 One of the favorites to win and where half my money is going, Spain was rather enthusiastic about this match. Winner of the Eurocup in 2k8 and qualifying to the World Cup in perfect state, demonstrated in the first half his flamenco futbolero which confounded Vash, not knowing where to attack and defend. However, perhaps he was too busy into displaying his best that he didn't knew that the ever serious Swiss started to operate a powerful defense that stopped any advances on the 2nd half. In a shock to the own Spain, Switzerland managed to score a rebounding goat towards him. Spain starts to panic and tries to fight back but the Swiss know how to defend (that and...guns are rather intimidating... what's with the weapons on the field again? stare ) In the end, the perfect champ lost 0 - 1 against. . .cheese. ..

World Cup Interview - Italia Romano (1st Round) |
|
|
|
|
|
|
By Da Mangaka
Defending the world cup title is Italy, who. . .well, many are nowadays doubting their potential. The eternal lovers of pasta, siestas and tomatoes are into the field and got a painful tied score with Paraguay, 1-1. Really, what's with this world cup and their ties? Anyways... here's a post-game interview with Romano...who seemed... um.. well, it is Romano < _<
. . . .With us is one of the Italy brothers, Romano. So, tell me... why a tie? It's been quite a tendency on this world cup if you ask me. . .It's because we went easy on her! We didn't know she wasn't as weak as she looked. I told the bastards to let me in earlier, but my stupid little brother was absolutely convinced he'd be able to beat her by himself... we would've beaten them if they'd let me in earlier!About that actually... what's with your brother. To be honest, I expected a rape fest goal barrage from the current world champs. After all, you know how the Germany/Prussia match went... we haven't heard back from Australia's condition after that *sighs worried* Anyways, in that matter, who was who moved Italy to win last cup, you or Feliciano? We both did our part, I guess. Feliciano's an idiot most some of the time, but he's pretty good at playing calcio, I'll have to admit. Though he did screw up big time this match.Hmm, well, what about your next contender, are you up to him? What will you do to win? We're definitely not going to be as nice to NZ. After this, the only ones we MIGHT take pity on REALLY the pathetic teams. Seriously, how did that hamburger b*****d get in here?! He doesn't even know the difference between football and the other football. What amazing originality, hamburger b*****d, naming that stupid game football. You barely even USE your feet! But all in all, New Zealand better watch out. If there's one thing that Italians get violent over, it's football. And pretty girls. But, ehm, getting off subject. You do realize that the one playing as NZ is a girl? We know that there's her twin bro but... he doesn't seem so interested in participating *light chuckle* So... what about that? Can we expect another tie?
In another news... I do this question to everyone: if you where to pick who to play next, who would it be and how would you defeat the team? I don't care at this point. We didn't play up to our full potential this match, so we're going to try and make up for it. New Zealand's a girl, but she should've thought twice before entering if her team doesn't want their asses handed to them. Besides, they'll probably stick me out for most of the game again anyways... I'm not a secret weapon or anything, people know by now not to screw around with me during a football game. And HOPEFULLY, if those idiots actually let me play sooner, that damn pattern will be broken.
I hope we go up against the potato b*****d, honestly! I'll finally be able to get it into his thick skull to stay the ******** away from Feliciano! Knowing my luck, though, we'll end up going against Spain somehow... and I don't want that... n-not that I care or anything, I just don't want him to start crying on me when we beat him, dammit!Hmm? *quirks and eye* What's with you and Spain? Is there a relationship going on there? WHAT THE ******** ARE YOU SUGGESTING?!!! A-absolutely not! Why would I ever like that tomato b*****d?! Especially like that, ch-chigi! /flustered
Er... h-how dare you! I'll let you know I'm carrying a fully loaded GP 35 right now, and if you DARE say something like that again, there will be bullets in your brain before you can say, "tomatoes"!*flinches* E-er... n-no need for the . . .*rolls eyes* Shesh.. what's with you and weapons? First is Denmark and his giant assed axe...and then you with... what ever the (how did you even get it pass security? T _T; )
*ehem* Um... anyways... er... right, tomatoes... um.. what about your relationship with your brother? How do you do strategies for the games? . . .that if you do them. . . I created the mafia, idiot, and they sleep with revolvers under their pillows. And the one I have now is a type of pistol/handgun. *scowls*
We're close, I guess. I'm the older brother, I'm ment to be the responsible one, and that's how I was raised. We argue a little bit about that, since he thinks I'm overprotective, but what does he know! The potato freak is bad news, why can't he see that? I don't want that b*****d taking advantage of Feli. If I told you about that, then you'd know why we're such kickass football players, wouldn't you? We're just pretty good at analyzing, contrary to popular belief. I'll leave it at that. Alrighty... any last words before we leave you be? Um... care to get some pasta at my place? The restaurant at the hotel I'm staying is quite good with it *eyes narrow slightly* How the... ...Erm, I should be heading home anyways! I... er... Grandpa Rome's here! So, I, uh, have to go make sure he doesn't start flirting again! B-because the last time he did, we got death threats for a month! R-right, so I'm going now! And you will forget I'm carrying a gun right now, or you might have a very unfortunate accident! *backs off*
This reporter only asks... what kind of security does South Africa have for the teams. . . .speaking of that, N.Korea is up for a match. . .I'm rather scared now . _.;
Well, this is all for today's matches! See you later, ta-ta!

World Cup Interview - Paraguay (1st Round) |
|
|
|
|
|
|
By Da Mangaka
Paraguay, on of the South American countries, is perhaps the only girl from that area. And rather one of the few competing for the world cup, along with New Zealand (whose twin brother was unavailable) and Slovakia. (if I'm not mistaken, or is it Serbia?) and has her first match with the current champion, the Forza Azzuri of Italy. But... what can she expect? A first view on her thoughts about the match even before it starts
*arrives* Paraguay? Miss Elizabeth? Can I... get an interview from you? Before the match...
owo; Um, sure?
Um, very well Let's see, Miss Paraguay - how do you expect your next opponent to be? Do you think you can outmatch him? If so, how?
Umm, let me think. I think I'm going to win. I honestly think he's going to wave his white flag and surrender, or try to play, but fail. But...he might surprise me. Really, all I think I have to do is take the ball and run at him, he'll probably get scared or something.
*laughs lightly* We all think that. I mean, he's the world champ and he was defeated in a match prior. But what ever...
I though I heard Mexico on a corner nearby me, crying . . . guess he's rather sensitive on how the world views him. . .
Anyways, um... a little bit of a personal question: everyone has noticed your older brother Uruguay sparkling.... how does he do that? And why doesn't he seem to notice? . _ .; He startled France with that. . .
I don't know how. He doesn't notice? I think he just pretends to not notice. And yes, I remember that. =w=
Hmm, the question I do to everyone: if you could play against any team, which would it be? And how would you defeat it?
I want to go up against Uruguay, just to shut him up for a bit and maybe get him to stop sparkling for a good 5 minutes.
As if destiny was mocking me, Uruguay passed by, along with 2 girls, leaving a trail of sparkles. This made Paraguay face/palm
Uruguay vs Paraguay. That would indeed be interesting. So, hmm, let's see... oh yes!: How do you feel being one of the few 'female' countries playing on the world cup? Are you intimidated, frustrated, proud?
I'm having mixed feelings. It's great to be here, but I feel a bit intimidated by the male countries. But still, it's going to be fun!
A bit about politics: How's South America right now?
South America...it's getting a bit colder soon, but for now it's nice. And the game's stating soon! Good luck! I'll try not to get killed by Italy!
When I was uploading this to the e-news of World Cup Hetalia, Paraguay was starting her 2nd half, with one goal against 0. . .I guess Italy needs to stop waiving his flag at anything . . .

World Cup Interview - Australia (1st Round) |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Da Mangaka
One of the few (or rather, two) teams of Oceania to participate, Australia is still a newbie on what it is to football, them preferring English Rugby or even Cricket. But... little did he knew ..the master of many tricks, that the ending would be rather.. . um.. . yeah. With 0 goals against 4 from the Germany/Prussia combo... one can only imagine. .
E-er... Australia... can you give us an interview?. . .or..something? Aren't you supposed to be a guy? (then again, without vital regions, it's hard to tell. . .)
...Y-yeah I'm supposed t'be a guy... but Prussia messed me up so badly...*Cringe.*
Fine, I'll give an interview. I... I suppose I let my guard down a little bit. 'Course I expected Ludwig.... and Gilbert... to be amazin' at soccer. B-but at l-least we could have at least scored one goal... and then w-when Gilbert got onto the pitch, it was.... Absolute chaos and slaughter....... *About to collapse from pain exhaustion.*
I see. Well, anyways, onto the questions: many say that the referee was either blind, stupid or sold (when have I heard that before 9 _ 9; ) do you think he did a good job on whistling the match?
...I d-don't know... I suppose that red card was unfair, though- = A=;;;
I really need to go and lie down now... because my arms feel like they're about to fall off. *Sniffle.* So, any more questions? = ~ 0
Um... well, I would go ask the favorite 'if you could play against any team, what would it be and how would you win?' but... you're completely wasted. . .*sigh* Um... but.. the question goes on. . .
Well- I'd love to play against England in the final... or have a rematch against Germany. Which I would win 6-0.
N-now excuse me, I need to go and lie down. *Limps away on a crutch, muttering about Gilbert and Ludwig grumbling in pain...*
We haven't heard about Logan after this interview. . .

World Cup Interview - France (1st Round) |
|
|
|
|
|
|
By Da Mangaka
France was champion of his own world cup in 1998, failing on 2002 and. . .not exactly having a good comeback on 2006. However, he is still optimistic about his results
OMG!IT'SFRANCENIISAN!PLEASEHAVEMYBABIES!KYEEEE! Hey there France, can I make an interview with you? ICAN'TPOPANYMOREOUTI'MSORRYOf course you can, mon cher~ *takes picture first* Ok, so, Francis, be honest...why did you tie 0-0 with Uruguay? Was his sparkling so dazzling or your fangirls too time consuming or...did you just....um...suck? Well, to be completely honest.
It was because we no longer have Zidane... shame. No one else has the balls on the team to headbutt someone when needed.
America comes in to talk around
FRANCE FRANCE FRANCE. YOU GOT INTO A TIE TOO, DIDN'T YOU? *Stares at Alfred* Yes! but hey at least we didn't pull an England!~I. . . That's cold. Cheer up France, he became a meme. Anyways, about your next opponent, Mexico, how do you feel about him? And, relationship-wise, how are your ties with him (we'll avoid talking about the South part because she's scary...) Well just with these games, I don't know about doing too well...-sighs- Zidane... What's with France bringing people? England decides to butt get in as well.FRANCE, HEADBUTTING IN A FOOTBALL MATCH IS AGAINST THE RULES. > A >;;;OI! ENGLAND! VIOLENCE ON THE FIELD IS A TRADITION, YOU'RE JUST TOO p***y TO DO IT.Well, France... we don't want to get any red cards. > u > *Waves a Three Lions flag in his face.*At least I'm not afraid to get them.So...is it true you won't pass first round then? Pitty, there goes my second 50 dll batch... I'm not saying we aren't it is just. We will still try, like every other time. For some reason though I feel this year is not as strong for us. But that's okay. Because my nation was not made to be a sport winning factory....So France, if your nation was not made to be a sport-winning factory, then WHAT is it made to be?You know, things you're not good at, Like um...what was it?... OH YEAH. Cooking. By this time... you can just... imagine what would England start doing to him. I had to wrap it up and head to sleep... what with Australia and Germany's match being earlier than I though (for me at least). Well, we only hope the best for France-nissan! Gambatte!

World Cup Interview - Mexico (1st Round) |
|

By Da Mangaka
For the grand opener of the world cup, Mexico played against the host, South Africa. To manage to get him, it was sort of hard, as he was in the phone answering to something, rather writing something. He looked quite anguished. By the time I got to him, he was on the hotel room, exhausted both mentally and physically, so I decided to do the interview a day later. This is the story
Hello, Mexico? Can I get an interview from you? U-uum.. sure, I suppose you can. Just please make it brief, I need to head out for something. . . Very well then. I'll start: How did you feel the game of today? Where you nervous for it being the actual first match, not to mention it being the one against the host? Oh, geez... um... I suppose I was very nervous, but we had to get the show on the road. I heard about what happened to S.Africa's past boss and I was really sad. Then again, I have also issues at home: did you know nobody in my house wanted my boss to come? I was rather scared that might have waned the excitement on the match but, I'm happy to say that they supported me regardless I heard about you defeating Italy, the current world champ, do you think you can go on to the top? To be honest, that's my dream. My Birthday number 200 is up (wow.. I can't believe I'm that old *laughs*) and I would really like a nice cup on my . . .
*shivers* . . . it isn't really a gold cup, right? U-um... because... er... I. . .I probably leave the cup in S.Africa . _.; What's wrong? My bosses > _<; They...well... they like to get resources from many places. Don't get me wrong, might be for the best of intentions but... sometimes we can't... *phone rings up*
Oh, wait.. hold on a sec... *picks it up*
By this time, I thought that it was either his boss or the team manager, but to my surprise the sound that came from the phone wasn't male (Yes, I could hear it from here). Mexico flinched and pleaded in Spanish and well, he was rather scared for some reason. He started to write down something in a piece of paper, very nervously. I though he might collapse there
Sorry for that... my sister. Your sister? *shivers* Xochilt...y-you know... South Mexico? I'm actually the North part but... we work so I am the face of the nation. . .*slightly nervous* I-I see. . . Anyways, on to the next question: what country would you like to play against with and how would you win? To be honest, any country would be fine, though I really wish to play against England again. I need to get my revenge!
But again, any country is fine... so far it isn't stupid idioticgullibleandyetpowerfulbutdumbandbelievinghe'sthekingoftheworld America. Do you see that guy?! He's not even playing seriously! Check him out! I didn't even knew he liked futbol... oh, wait *rolls eyes* soccer... psh... I just hope England shows him how it's played. By the way, how's the relationship with America?*slightly pale* N-no comment. . . I see. Um, I've heard rumors (on the political matter still) about you and Russia, wha- *raises up a thick book* D-doctrina Estrada! It's mainly a treaty, I assure you. Nothing else is going on: we need some strengthening on our...police force.
And quite frankly, America isn't helpful (that and.. *reads the note he wrote* he hasn't been good in cleaning up his spills. . .) so I'm asking the other power to help me. He's rather a nice guy *smiles fondly* We're talking about Russia, right? Da... e-er .. I mean, si. He's a good guy, I don't know why people are frightened... Um... right.. anyways, before I leave you: what do you think about your next opponent, France To be honest, France isn't good in the field playing *laughs*. He has his lucky strikes and...that guy who headbutts but.. that's all... As long as he doesn't rape me on the field 9 _9; I know he's good on bed, I've gotten my piece of him back on the Guerra de Reforma and we- Um.. *pokes him* M-mexico.. this is an interview for PG-13 audiences... *blush* E-erh... oops... my bad... I slip things like that ... e-er.. sorry. Anyways, (although I'll have to use that example) if he where in the field as he is in bed, he'd probably have won all world cups. Sadly, the comparison of him in the field is of England's cooking. It's not that bad but... you know, you sometimes don't know what to expect..and usually it's bad.. Oh! By the way... are you going to interview England?
Mind if you give him this? *gives note* U-um... sure... I'll do so. Well, thank you for the interview and, good luck! Gracias! Saludos a todos en Mexico y... nos vemos en el Angel pa' festejar!
This ends up this first interview, of many more I hope

World Cup Interview - America (1st Round) |

By Da Mangaka
Shortly after (or in between) the interview with England, I swooped over with America, since.. he was close by and... not to mention, soaking the hell out of him. He turned out to be cheery... although... *sigh*. This newscaster wonders sometimes how the heck he can be that powerful. . .
Hey ! Alfred! Can I have an interview with you?ME!? AN INTERVIEW? HAHAHAHA. SURE! Very well. Now, Alfred, how do you feel about your match against Iggy? Surely you know you are still a bit of an underdog in Soccer, but you are showing quite a display both on this and the last cup. What's your secret? THE MATCH WAS AWESOME. THOUGH, I DO THINK ENGLAND WAS HAVING AND OFF DAY, BECAUSE THE WAY THEY'VE BEEN KNOWN TO PLAY, THEY COULD HAVE FINISHED US OFF QUICKER THAN MARRY POPPINS CAN SAY SUPERCALAFRAGILISTICEXPIALADOCIOUS. BUT IF I DO SAY SO MYSELF, PERSISTENCE IS THE TRICK. -pumps fist- NEVER GIVE UP, NO MATTER THE CIRCUMSTANCES. YOU NEVER BACK DOWN. TRY AND TRY AGAIN! I'M DETERMINED TO GET AS FAR AS WE CAN THIS YEAR, AND IF WE DON'T MAKE IT TO THE FINALS, THERE'S ALWAYS THE NEXT WORLD CUP! My, always so cheery, I like that *smiles* Well, speaking of how far you can go, um.. how far in the cup will you go? Do you think you can reach finals? The most you've gotten is Quarter Finals, so I've heard. Also, many fans have been wondering about this: Why orange shoes? OH GEEZE. I CAN'T SAY FOR SURE. I KNOW THAT GERMANY, THE NETHERLANDS, SPAIN, BRAZIL AND ENGLAND ARE ALL VERY GOOD TEAMS. WITH ITALY BEHIND THEM. BUT-- I GUESS IT'S ALL JUST DEPENDING ON IF OUR PLAYERS DECIDE TO STRIVE FOR THE BEST OR NOT. WE GOTTA' LET THAT AMERICAN SPIRIT KICK IN. The orange shoes is what our sponsor decided to supply us with. HAHAHAHAHA! Your spon... Oh, of course, America is made out of sponsors *light laugh* If you could choose what team you'd like to play, what would it be? And, how would you win against him/her? THAT'S A HARD QUESTION! SPAIN WOULD BE PRETTY FUN TO GO UP AGAINST. I HEARD MATCHES AGAINST HIM ARE INTENSE. I DON'T KNOW HOW WE'D WIN THOUGH. Hmm, Boss Spain. I heard that after England, he's a favorite to win the World cup. Also, what do you think about Korea and him saying that he invented soccer? THE GUY'S FULL OF HIMSELF. *crosses arms, puffs cheeks out* Do you know who invented soccer then? . . . Cavemen? . . . . .ri-right.. . Cavemen did... Er... just curious, do you know where you are playing now? Somewhere. . . where there are-- elephants-- Um... America, do you realize football was made on . . .England < _ < ENGLISH CAVEMEN?
More madness issued, you can see it from here onwards. England entered (it seems where ever America is, so will England be...) and started to discuss about a certain banner containing Green failing as a goalie... ah... those lovable brothers. Well, that wraps up this day for interviews. Ta-ta!

World Cup Interview - England (1st Round) |

By Da Mangaka
After the first Match between him and...Alfred, I managed to spot both of them, going first with England. He looked quite... frustrated and smelled still of gin. My... my... This is the report of that day
O-oh- And interview? I-I'm still a little bit hung over from the match, actually. America just got lucky with that goal.It wouldn't be the first time. Anyways, I'll start the interview. So, England, how do you feel about today's match? Many are rooting for you and many suppose you as the new world cup champ, so... how do you feel about this first match against America?
I'm a bit disappointed in the match, really. Like I said earlier, the one goal that America did get was really just the result of dumb luck. If Green hadn't made that one mistake, my team would have won. I see, so it was a thing of luck? Hmm, I thought that ...considering you have Ireland as a brother, you'd be more lucky *chuckles* On to the next question - what do you think about your team's coach?
Ireland doesn't like the that much, I think he might be blocking it off from me. And I rather like Mr. Capello. Mr. Fabio Capello~ Such a clever fellow~ Hmm, I see. England, do you think you will achieve the world cup? I suppose it would be a great thing considering you'll be hosting in 2 years the Olympics. About that and getting a bit out of the topic, how are you preparing for the Olympics?
Of course I do! You won't win it if you don't think you can, you know. As far as the Olympics go, Wenlock and Mandeville are working hard on it. That's about all I can disclose at the moment. Can't give everything away just now, can i?I quite like the way you think Arthur, no wonder you are one of my favorite countries. I really wish I could visit your house. Sadly, um. . .I'll not disclose much but I don't have enough money. A question I asked to America as well: if you could play against any team, who would it be and how would you win against him/her? *sprayed*
-SQUEAL- C-C-COLD. COLD. -covers chest-
By this time, America had arrived and hosed England all around. I took my time to take some pictures and video. They will be attached later.
WHAT WAS THAT ENGLAND, I CAN'T HEAR YOU!-puts thumb over part of the hose, putting more pressure on the water causing it to come out a little harder- AHAHAHAHAHAHA! SPEAK UP!
S-STOPPIT AMERICA. STOPPITSTOPSTOP-- EIIIII- *sprayed harder* *scrambles off to the side, trying to get out of the hose's line of fire* I-IF YOU- S-STOP. STOP. I'M DAMP NOW. L-LOOKWHATYOU'VEDONE.
*too fussed up to notice the pictures being taken*Mr. England, if you wish... here's my coat *passes it on* Anyways... I'm off now to get more interviews. I hope you enjoy the world cup as we are doing so. This has been Da Mangaka. Ta-ta for now!
*taken care of, shivers* *dripdripdrip* *huddles into coat* Y-yes. What she said. A-Americaaaaa. *still has yet to notice that he's being recorded*
