GAIA, what the heck is this???

GAIA online, welcome to the site that was once rich with artistic minds, creative posts and wonderful art. Now its a site that you pay to decorate a pixilated version of yourself, play annoying silly games, and hopefully give your own hard earned points back to the system to 'earn' self status. Gaia online, the manga version of facebook for guppies.

For once I am shamed to visit a page that I used to love being a part of. An online community that is more about taking your money than letting you have fun and express yourself. Gaia, for shame...

So, I realized that I have been on this site for over seven years!.... and my perceptions of society and people may have changed, and I may have more concerns on my mind - career, solid relationship, house, dependents, but I still feel the same!
I work on simple hobbies like knitting becasue I can so easily see a solid outcome of somethign workable! I listen to music and break out in dance and singing at the top of my lungs! I enjoy time in my garden with the dogs laying in the grass, why? Because its the simple things, the happy moments, that make life go by, and too many people are trying to live life for the moment and screw it all up for the long run, or they are too busy planning for the future to look at the moment and enjoy it! PEOPLE!!!
But smile smile if you dont, how is anyone going to fall in love with your smile?

And so i figure since i havent spoken out here since last year, again i rampage on with my words of senselessness (or so you think...)
What is with society!!! THey are so involved with the materials around them, they cannot simply smile at life around them! I walk home, and seeing the rain, hearing my music i start to dance and get caught up in the movenment, another person looks at me, thinks im under the influence of drugs and walks to the other side of the street. Why? Is it that weird to be simply happy? I know this world is eventually going to hell... or it is, so why not smile at what we have? Sure i saunter to work and am confronted by another "LATTE! MEDIUM! EXTRA DRY!" ... yah, thanks! You know you could smile, be nice, share a little joke with me, and make this life lifeable!
I was walking downtown in my city and passed by an older man with an oxygen tank. I smiled at him (something i have gotten into the habit of doin to all who need a smile in their day) and he gets this giant toothless grin and says "afternoon lass! Glorious day, aint it?" I smiled brightly and he just laughed, merrily, and him and his aid carried on. Carrying on home i meet my roomie, freaking out over exams, hair does, new jeans, how her job isnt going, how she needs food but cant afford gas... and on and on and on... She takes one look at me and thinks im weird. In this time of moving on and carrying everythign on our backs i walk in teh door singing a tune and movin away. SMILE!! Everyone needs to. You know why? Cause of the world we live in...
We need the sadness, the pervertity and the anger (not at the levels they are... but well, its needed i guess) for if we dont konw what true unhappiness, that need to just curl up and cry untill we are an empty abiss... then i guess we wouldnt know what happiness is. But we dont need to feel that way constantly!!!
So if you meet some weird chick in the pouring rain outside, dancing away and singing at the top of her lungs, smile, it could be me trying to make my roommate smile from another issue...

And so i welcome you to this dark yet always amusing to those who are willing to laugh at all, a page where you can meet my inner weirdo! xp Yes, i am loving this! To warn you, sometimes i break out in poetry, sometimes in psycological quotes, sometimes, as all, i am venting my problems and would love a "yah, im feelin you!" or a solution to my problems that make me feel that the world truly is completely f***ed up ! whee

Sometimes all we need to do is dance to the music in our head and just let our selves go, not only does our soul fly but others get a chance at a truly humourous moment 4laugh But seriously, dance, dance like no ones watching, laugh like you never have, dream like there are no limits, live like there is no tomorrow and love like there is no chance of a broken heart. for if we dont live with the life we have what chance is there that we can live an after life? like an after party, we need a time to celebrate what we lived through.

You know how sometimes you hear that great quote that in those tough times you think upon, reflect and suddenly have great strenght to last to the top of the mountain and can celebrate ? (ex carpe diem?) Well, what about " if we had no trenches to crawl through how would we know that there is truly a time of being free of the muck and the sadness? if there was no sadness how would we know joy? no grey, white?"

And so i end this weird first thought with this....
