Name of Bloodline // Clan: Kinruiton 茸遁 Fungi Release
Bloodline or Clan?: Technically a clan, but only newborns can be initiated into it. Newborns have next to no immune system, allowing a very weak spore to root and grow in their lungs without either the host or the fungi being killed. Due to needing this spore for the techniques, it is instead treated as a Bloodline.
Theme: Kinruiton is meant to be highly versatile, but at the sacrifice of techniques for more 'passive' aid. Its versatility means it can be shaped to what the user requires of it, but it also has enough limitations to prevent a complete monopoly of all the benefits that can be earned. It also encourages members to interact with each other in order to make the most of what they do have access to. Kinruiton users can be a danger to allies, so consideration for them is necessary. Meanwhile, the Kinruiton user themself has to be careful not become short of breath (up to a point) as their lungs are home to the fungal colony that provides them these abilities.
Background Information on the Development: I went through several iterations of this proposal, and some ideas are more developed than others, or still have left-over information from a previous direction that may not work quite as well with other ideas presented.
The idea from the start has always been 'a clan/bloodline that has little in jutsu but is super diverse.' Originally, everyone started with the Nausea trait, and the 'spores' the Kinruiton used would affect every jutsu the user casts. Now, people can choose their starting trait (to be more true to the original idea of diversity) and I believe I've at least helped balanced out the spore effect being applied to Fuuton and Doton jutsu by making the application of the spores a jutsu in of itself that must be cast immediately beforehand.
I'm still convinced this isn't entirely balanced yet and I'm still fine-tuning the Passive Ability "Kinruiton : Kokyū [ Fungi Release: Breathing ]". It was massively over-powered to begin with, especially for a 'free' technique. Originally, it was any learned trait's maximum rank was passively inflicted on anyone within a range and I thought 'that's balanced because it also hurts teammates!' Stupid, I know. I think too highly of people. That got replaced with lowest ranked effect.
It was as I was writing out the Fungal Colony Traits that I realised I could make this more diverse by having a Fungal Colony Rank. And from that allowing different ranks for different traits - hence a Fungal Colony can be A Ranked, but Trait #1 is B-Ranked and Trait #2 can remain D-Rank for whatever in-character reason etc. etc. I know it sounds like it is making this more complex than it needs to be, but I geniunely feel this will open it up to a wider range of playability. Like a 'Healer' focus who can't kiss someone without making them nauseaus from the Nausea Trait, but didn't want the Trait so strong the Love Interest pukes their guts out. Yes, the Passive Ability only implements the lowest effect but you see what I'm trying to say; Role-Play-ability. I want this to be open and of interest to any and all RPers.
The longest part of writing up this proposal has to be the information for all of the Fungal Colony Traits. I don't want to talk about them because it hurts how much time they have been taking.
I have decided to post this without it being fully polished due to not only expecting changes to be made to it if it gets approved, but also due to having a sudden, potentially serious, medical issue pop up and I will be only briefly available during the month of Feb (which is seperate from the health concern).
Kinruiton • Fungi Release Slow and sure, spreading the spore
tabH i s t o r y : Fungi / Mushroom Release (茸遁, Kinruiton) is rumoured to be a mutated version of the Wood Release (木遁, Mokuton) kekkei genkai. Whether this is from radiation exposure, scientific experiementation, or simple evolution, is unknown. Perhaps they have always been around, simply too lethargic to have ever really been noticed or recorded, which doesn't ring entirely believable when you realise how powerful these individuals can become.
There seems to be no specific body-type of a Kinruiton user; ranging from the small and weedy to the tall and thick. But each member does wear some kind of mask over their nose and mouth, be it simple cloth or an advanced piece of equipment - unless in combat. They also tend to move quite deliberately, some may even call it 'slow.' But that doesn't stop their actions from being precise or even forceful when necessary. It is said that the most high-ranked and powerful members of this kekkai genkai are even able to grow the fungi caps on their body as a symbol of their status. However, this is rarely seen due to the limitations of the fungi itself.
Kinruiton users naturally fall into one of two groups; those that use the Physical Method, and those who use the Oral Method. No matter the result, all Kinruiton users have a fungi living in their lungs, planted there at birth, poisoning their breath and threatening all non-users around them if special precautions are not taken. For weaker members, a simple cloth is all that is needed to prevent the spores from infecting another person's lungs. Stronger users require advanced equipment to keep individuals around them safe.
The strength of the user also determines the strength of their techniques, needing to grow, nurture, and evolve their fungal colony in order to do so.
tabR e s t r i c t i o n s : • User must choose between the Physical and Oral method at character creation. • Users in arid environments have their techniques' power cut in half, unless physical. • Users in raining environments have their techniques' power cut in half, unless oral. • Post reductions do not apply to Evolution, Colony Trait Rank, and Fungal Colony Rank exercises. • Users can only have up to three [ 3 ] Fungal Colony Traits.
tabR e q u i r e m e n t s : • User must have Doton [ Earth ] as one of their Elements. • User must have Fuuton [ Wind ] as one of their Elements. • Attach the below info to your profile, once approved :
Fungal Colony Rank : E-Rank Fungal Colony Colour(s) : [Caps & spores may be different to each other] Infliction Method : [Oral, Physical] Fungal Colony Trait(s) : • Trait [Rank] • Trait [Rank] • Trait [Rank]
tabC h a r a c t e r i s t i c s : • Techniques are performed by the user either breathing out spores or spreading via touch. • User has immunity to bacterial infections up to their Fungal Colony's rank. • A Physical Infliction user may learn Oral Infliction techniques (and vice versa) but only via RPCs. Both start with access to Self Infliction traits as well. • All Kinruiton fungal colonies start with one [ 1 ] Fungal Colony Trait. • A non-Kinruiton member exposed to the Kinruiton passive ability will encounter the minimum rank of all known trait's Oral Infliction side-effect(s).
tabF u n g a l _ C o l o n y : ___Colony Ranks : Listed below are descriptions of each rank of the fungal colony. Please note that these may be influenced by Greater Personal Attributes, Kinruiton training exercises, Fungal Colony Traits, and other aspects.
E-Rank : A fresh colony recently planted into a new host, or one that is very weak. The spores die almost as soon as they leave the hosts' body but can still infect the lungs of non-Kinruiton members who is within a few inches of the user's face. Spores can be easily negated with a cloth or other mouth and nose covering. Oral Infliction Range : three [ 3 ] inches Physical Infliction Longevity : N/A
D-Rank : Not much better than E-Rank but now have an established root system in the lung, allowing stronger trait effects. All bodily fluids are now as infectious as the air breathed out of the lungs. The spores in any fluid expelled from the body dies once the moisture is gone. The colony has also grown to the size of nearly filling the hosts' lungs completely. This can cause some discomfort, especially when doing strenuous acivities. Oral Range : seven [ 7 ] inches Physical Infliction Longevity : one [ 1 ] post
C-Rank : May adopt a second [ 2 ] Fungal Colony Trait via the Evolution Training exercise. The mouth and nose must now by firmly wrapped up under thick fabric, concealed under cloth with anti-fungal properties/mixture, or under a more advanced piece of filtering equipment to prevent infecting anyone within a vacinity of a few meters when talking in their direction. Those walking behind the host are also at risk if the host has not properly covered their mouth and nose. The lungs are completely filled by the fungi, making heavy breathing nearly impossible, so hosts need to be careful not to exert their body too far. Oral range : twenty-one [ 21 ] inches Physical Infliction Longevity : two [ 2 ] posts
B-Rank : The feeling of having lungs filled by fungi is no longer a discomfort and you do not find to be short of breath as often. Oral range : two [ 2 ] meters Physical Infliction Longevity : three [ 3 ] posts
A-Rank : Breathing is no-longer required except to talk, due to the fungi providing oxygen, as well as other nutrients, to the bloodstream directly. Oral range : two [ 2 ] meters Physical Infliction Longevity : four [ 4 ] posts
S-Rank : May adopt a third [ 3 ] Fungal Colony Trait via the Evolution Training exercise. Oral range : two [ 2 ] meters Physical Infliction Longevity : five [ 5 ] posts
S+ Rank : The hyphae of the fungal colony is so well-rooted throughout the hosts' body that it is possible to grow caps on the skin. These caps, however, potently expand the range of possible Oral Infliction by five times the original expected measurement. Each cap will take 10 posts to grow, during which the user must be focuing on a chakra exercise. Each cap counts as an Oral Infliction point. Standard Oral range : two [ 2 ] meters Physical Infliction Longevity : six [ 6 ] posts
___Colony Training : A Kinruiton fungal colony may be improved or undergo an 'evolution' via the listed below training exercises. An 'Improvement' is to increase the strength of an already established trait of the fungal colony, while an 'Evolution' is the adoption of a new trait to the colony. Post reductions do not apply to these exercises.
• Evolution Exercise Can only be performed a total of twice, and only upon reaching ranks C and S respectively. Successful completion of the exercise allows the addition of a new trait to the user's Fungal Colony. Perform 20 posts of exposing your colony to something relevent to the trait you wish to learn.
• Fungal Colony Rank/Trait Rank Exercises The Fungal Colony Rank cannot exceed the user's body rank by more than one [ 1 ] as it may put the host at risk of being consumed by the fungal infection and, ultimately, killed. The Fungal Colony Trait cannot exceed the Fungal Colony Rank. To increase the colony or trait by rank, follow the guide below (colony rank and trait rank cannot be done at the same time). This allows the Fungal Colony, as a whole, to be of the desired customisation.
E-Rank to D-Rank : Perform seven [ 7 ] posts of exposing your colony to something relevent to the trait already learned OR perform chakra control exercises.
D-Rank to C-Rank : Perform ten [ 10 ] posts of exposing your colony to something relevent to the trait already learned OR perform chakra control exercises.
C-Rank to B-Rank : Perform twelve [ 12 ] posts of exposing your colony to something relevent to the trait already learned OR perform chakra control exercises.
B-Rank to A-Rank : Perform fifteen [ 15 ] posts of exposing your colony to something relevent to the trait already learned OR perform chakra control exercises.
A-Rank to S-Rank : Perform seventeen [ 17 ] posts of exposing your colony to something relevent to the trait already learned OR perform chakra control exercises.
S-Rank to S+ Rank : Perform twenty [ 20 ] posts of exposing your colony to something relevent to the trait already learned OR perform chakra control exercises.
___Colony Traits: Each Kinruiton user starts with one [ 1 ] Fungal Colony Trait of their choice. This determines the effect of their techniques - both passive and active. The effects are also influenced by the infliction method used to introduce the spores; Oral (O), Physical (P), or Self (S). O and P require the use of a technique, while S only requires the relevent chakra and/or stamina cost to be made, unless stated otherwise. Passive Techniques do not require a cost to activate and maintain but are always active.
• Nausea Feeling sick to actually being sick, nausea is a great trait to adopt for your colony to incapcitate your enemies.
Oral Infliction E-Rank : Induces gagging in the unfortunate victim almost instantly. Lasts one [ 1 ] post. D-Rank : Same as previous, while the gagging is also strong enough now to bring up bits of anything recently eaten, as well compromising their ability to breathe. Lasts two [ 2 ] posts. C-Rank : B-Rank : A-Rank : S-Rank : S+ Rank :
Physical Infliction E-Rank : A feeling like sea-sickness for three [ 3 ] posts. Takes one [ 1 ] post to take effect. D-Rank : Same as E-Rank, with added effect of watery eyes. C-Rank : Near-instant effect. Causes small amounts of regurgitation and slight loss of balance for three [ 3 ] turns. B-Rank : Near-instant effect. Induces vomiting and complete loss of balance for three [ 3 ] turns. A-Rank : S-Rank : S+ Rank :
• Hallucinations Daze to outright terrify or completely entrance your targets, be they friend or foe!
Oral Infliction E-Rank : Anyone compromised by these spore don't suffer hallucinations but rather a slight distortion of colours. Similar hues may even look alike. Takes one [ 1 ] post to take effect, and lasts two [ 2 ] posts. D-Rank : Same as above as well as some hallucinagenic effects taking place now. Targets endure seeing sothing out of the corner of their eyes at all times. They take a dice roll; an even number means the halucination appears non-threatening, and odd numbers morphing the images to be somewhat threatening, creepy, or disturbing. Takes one [ 1 ] post to take effect, and lasts two [ 2 ] posts. C-Rank : With the spores being somewhat stronger now, the hallucinations only take one [ 1 ] action in a post to take effect, and lasts three [ 3 ] posts. The halucinations are still only taking place in the victim's periphery, but they are now large enough to cause the victim to not be entirely aware of what is going on there. B-Rank : Same as above, but now any any dice roll that lands on an increment of five [ 5 ] means the halucinations take place right in front of the victim's eye-sight, not the peripherals. An even and odd increment still incur the same non-threatening or disturbing image respectively. A-Rank : The fungal colony is now advanced enough to influence what kind of halucination the victim will undergo. Dopamine can be encouraged in the target's body to cause a relaxing, 'safe' halucination, while adrenalin can be encouraged instead to cause a more 'volatile' halucination instead. A dice roll will now only decide if the halucination takes place front and center (even number rolled) or on the periphals (odd number rolled). Still only takes one [ 1 ] action in a post to take effect, and lasts three [ 3 ] posts S-Rank : Same as above but now the halucination only ever takes up the whole of the victim's vision. S+ Rank : Same as above but now the target is oblivious to outside stimuli.
Physical Infliction E-Rank : After introducting the spores to the target's bloodstream, this trait will take effect after two [ 2 ] actions (or one [ 1 ] post) and will last two [ 2 ] posts. With such a weak colony, these spores will do little more than cause an auditory halucination - most likened to whispering or mumbling. D-Rank : Same as above but now the nerves are also going to be affected. The feeling of weight being placed and removed from the target's body will occur once [ 1 ] each for every post this effect lasts for. C-Rank : Same as above but now the auditory halucinations are as loud as someone talking right next them and the feeling of weight being placed and removed from the victim will each happen twice [ 2 ] on the second [ 2nd ] post this trait lasts for. A dice roll will now be used by the target to determine if the auditory halucinations are speaking positively (odd numbers) or negatively (even dice roll). B-Rank : Same as above but now this trait takes effect after only one [ 1 ] action and lasts for three [ 3 ] posts. A-Rank : S-Rank : The user is now able to influence what the victim hears upon insertion of their spores into the bloodstream. Influencing the brain to produce more Oxytocin which makes the victim chatty, or Serotonin, so they begin to see food where it doesn't exist, while also making them hungry. This trait takes effect after only one [ 1 ] action and lasts for three [ 3 ] posts. S+ Rank :
• Blood Pressure Influencing a persons blood pressure can cause some serious side-effects, though it may take some time to fully affect the target. Oral Infliction of this trait results in causing low blood pressure, while Physical Infliction causes high blood pressure. If one is immediately applied after the other, they will cancel each other out.
Oral Infliction E-Rank : Takes three [ 3 ] posts to take effect and lasts the same amount. Those affected will feel themselves become dizzy and lightheaded. D-Rank : Same as above but now they will also have blurred vision. C-Rank : Same as above but now nausea will affect them on the second [ 2nd ] post this trait is active for. B-Rank : Same as above but now the effects will last for four [ 4 ] posts. A-Rank : Same as above with fatigue as a new symptom victims will notice on the second [ 2nd ] post this trait is active for. S-Rank : Same as above, with the target fainting (for one [ 1 ] post) at the end of the fourth [ 4th ] post of this trait's active effects. S+ Rank : Same as above but now the victim needs two [ 2 ] posts to recover from fainting.
Physical Infliction E-Rank : Takes three [ 3 ] posts to take effect and lasts the same amount. Those affected will have blurred vision. D-Rank : Same as above but the victims will now feel a pounding in their chest, neck, and ears. C-Rank : Same as above but now the victim will find it difficult to breathe from the second [ 2nd ] post this trait is active for. B-Rank : Same as above but now the pounding in the chest, neck and ears, will become painful from the second [ 2nd ] post onwards. A-Rank : Same as above but now the effects will last for four [ 4 ] posts. S-Rank : Same as above but blurred vision is replaced with doubled vision. S+ Rank : Same as above but now any affected targets that do more than one action per post will pass out for one [ 1 ] post.
Self Infliction E-Rank : Your Fungal Colony is able to release spores into your bloodstream to lower blood pressure, helping to stem blood loss and relax the body. Lasts five [ 5 ] posts. D-Rank : No changes. C-Rank : Your fungal colony can now cause high blood pressure, helping to spread the distribution of oxygen and adrenalin through the body, increasing the user's speed by one-fourth [ 1/4th ]. Lasts three [ 3 ] posts. B-Rank : No changes. A-Rank : Your fungal colony has now developed a more controlled release of this spore that will lower the blood pressure by slowing the heart rate, also lowering the user's body temperature. S-Rank : Cost of this Self Infliction trait is now lowered by one-third [ 1/3rd ]. S+ Rank : After two posts, the user now appears to be dead, with their heart rate so slow it is almost undetectable and their body temperature now having cooled.
• Numbness Lack of feeling can be just as useful in a survivalist situation as a combat one.
Oral Infliction E-Rank : lung D-Rank : chest C-Rank : length of time activated lengthened B-Rank : head A-Rank : Internal injuries not felt S-Rank : time to activate shortened S+ Rank : Minor organ shut-down? Victim passes
Physical Infliction E-Rank : limb - small D-Rank : limb - larger area C-Rank : length of time active lengthened B-Rank : length of time to activate reduced A-Rank : Whole limb affected S-Rank : Limb paralysed S+ Rank : length activated
• Fever Raise the temperature of a target's body by causing a fever.
Oral Infliction Internal E-Rank : and may result in them having a compromised immune system for a few days, along with cold-like symptoms. D-Rank : C-Rank : B-Rank : Dehydration A-Rank : S-Rank : S+ Rank :
• Chills Slow down a target by turning their body against them.
Oral Infliction internal E-Rank : and may result in them having a compromised immune system for a few days, along with cold-like symptoms. D-Rank : C-Rank : B-Rank : A-Rank : S-Rank : S+ Rank :
Self Infliction E-Rank : Blood clots faster D-Rank : C-Rank : Cuts are filled with a fungal mucus to 'close' the wound, preventing any more bacteria to get in, or blood to get out. B-Rank : Pain is eased by a small, psychadelic dose from the fungi. A-Rank : S-Rank : S+ Rank :
• Absorbtion Taking in the nutrients of the world around you can be not only used for combat, but also in learning about your immediate environment. The Oral Infliction tree for this trait is to be treated like a Self Infliction tree, meaning it does not apply to techniques like traditional Oral Infliction traits would.
Oral Infliction E-Rank : Eating a bit of soil can give you a plus one [ 1 ] to locating checks for mineral resources. D-Rank : Same as above but also applies to wood resources. C-Rank : Same as above but also towards a check for the quality level of the resource. B-Rank : Chakra cost halved. A-Rank : Your fungal colony is now strong enough to get samples from other fungi, moss, and rotting wood. You get a plus two [ 2 ] towards locating checks for natural resources (minerals, woods, plants) as well as a plus one [ 1 ] towards the check for the resources' quality level. S-Rank : Same as above but a plus two [ 2 ] towards the check for the resources' quality level. S+ Rank : You get a plus three [ 3 ] towards locating checks for natural resources (minerals, woods, plants) as well as a plus three [ 3 ] towards the check for the resources' quality level.
Physical Infliction E-Rank : With such a weak colony, you will not gain any benefit from this trait at this rank. D-Rank : With such a weak colony, you will not gain any benefit from this trait at this rank. C-Rank : Your colony can now produce a single [ 1 ], resistant spore every ten [ 10 ] posts. This spore is capable of latching onto any living organism to draw out chakra. Once it plants, it will take one post to draw in twenty [ 20 ] chakra to make a cap. After that, the cap will need another post to draw in twenty [ 20 ] chakra to fill that cap which can then be consumed by the user to replenish their own chakra reserves by twenty [ 20 ]. The cap has a max capacity of twenty [ 20 ] and will not draw out any more chakra until the cap has been eaten. Each time it has been eaten, it will need a post to grow another cap, then another post again for it to have any chakra for the user's benefit. If planted on an enemy target, that enemy can remove the latched-on fungi by any chakra attack using greater than twenty [ 20 ] chakra. Any less and, while the cap must take another turn to regrow, the fungi will continue to siphon energy. This resistant spore does not induce the effects of any other Fungal Colony trait. B-Rank : Same as above but now your colony can now produce two [ 2 ], resistant spores every ten [ 10 ] posts. A-Rank : Same as above but now the capacity, requirements, and limits, are at forty [ 40 ] chakra. S-Rank : Same as above but now any latched on spores also deal the effects of other traits for as long as that resistant spore is present on the target. S+ Rank : Same as above but now the capacity, requirements, and limits, are at fifty [ 50 ] chakra and three [ 3 ] spores can be planted.
Self Infliction E-Rank : With your colony still so fragile, you cannot gather much at this time, beyond getting real close to animal droppings to get a plus one [ 1 ] to identification checks. D-Rank : Get low to the ground and breathe in the soil, preferrably a damp section, to get a plus one [ 1 ] to animal identification checks as well as to their location. C-Rank : You are now able to root some hyphae through your fingertips into the soil, tasting the nutrients for what animals may be around as well the type(s) of stone nearby. You get a plus one [ 1 ] to checks locating tombs/structures as well as a plus two [ 2 ] to identifying and locating animals in the immediate area. It takes one post to root in your hyphae to the soil. B-Rank : Your hyphae are now trained enough to taste the difference between treated wood and carved pieces of stone from their more naturally-formed counterparts, granting you a plus two [ 2 ] towards checks locating tombs and structures, as well as non-chakra based traps. You also have a small advantage in identifying the difference between natural chakra sources and not, gaining a plus one [ 1 ] to identifying chakra-based traps that may be in the area. You also have a plus three [ 3 ] to identifying what animals may be in the immediate area. It takes two actions in a post to root in your hyphae to the soil. A-Rank : You have a plus two [ 2 ] towards checks locating tombs and structures, as well as non-chakra based traps. You also have a small advantage in identifying the difference between natural chakra sources and not, gaining a plus two [ 2 ] to identifying chakra-based traps that may be in the area. You also have a plus three [ 3 ] to identifying what animals may be in the immediate area. You no-longer have to root your hyphae into the soil to gain these bonuses, but still must be touching the ground with your fingertips. S-Rank : Your Fungal Colony is so sensitive to the nutrients in the ground now that you have a plus three [ 3 ] towards checks locating tombs and structures, chakra and non-chakra based traps, and to identifying what animals may be in the immediate area. You also gain a plus one [ 1 ] in identifying if there are any scrolls in the area. You no-longer have to root your hyphae into the soil to gain these bonuses, but skin must be touching the soil. S+ Rank : Your Fungal Colony is so sensitive to the nutrients in the ground now that you have a plus four [ 4 ] towards checks locating tombs and structures, chakra and non-chakra based traps, and to identifying what animals may be in the immediate area. You also gain a plus two [ 2 ] in identifying if there are any scrolls in the area. You no-longer have to root your hyphae into the soil to gain these bonuses, but skin must be touching the soil.
tabK i n r u i t o n _ T e c h n i q u e s : ___Passive : • Kinruiton : Kokyū [ Fungi Release: Breathing ] Rank: E-Rank Strength: - Speed: - Duration // Upkeep: Constant // no cost Description: Every Kinruiton user starts with this passive ability and it can not be turned off. It's effect is determined by the Fungal Colony Traits learned by the user while the range is dependent on the strength of the user's colony. See the rank and trait(s) of your colony to know the effect of this passive ability. If you did not take the Oral Infliction Method at character creation, the range of this ability will remain at three [ 3 ] inches despite your Fungal Colony rank.
tabPhysical : • Kinruiton : Kansen no Jutsu [ Fungi Release: Infected Blade ] Rank: {Fungal Colony Rank} Strength: - Speed: - Duration // Upkeep: {Fungal Colony Rank} // Chakra cost equal to colony rank Description: Once the user's fungal colony reraches D-Rank, they can coat a weapon with their infected saliva and attempt to inflict a cut unto their opponent. The spores in the saliva would then be transferred into the blood of the target causing an effect dependent on the strength and trait of the user's fungal colony.
• Kinruiton : Toge no Jutsu [ Fungi Release: p***k ] Rank: {Fungal Colony Rank} Strength: - Speed: - Duration // Upkeep: {Fungal Colony Rank} // Chakra cost equal to colony rank Description: The user coughs up a small, thorn-like, projectile made from spores. Once it pierces the enemy's body, the spores are released directly into the bloodstream of the target, decreasing the posts required for a Physical Infliction trait effect to take place by one [ 1 ]. The strength of this attack's effect(s) is dependent on the user's Fungal Colony Rank and Fungal Colony Trait(s).
• Kinruiton : Binjō no Jutsu [ Fungi Release: Doton Piggyback Technique ] Rank: {Fungal Colony Rank} Strength: - Speed: - Duration // Upkeep: Instant // Chakra cost equal to colony rank Description: The user performs this jutsu right before they perform any Doton technique in order to infect it with their spores. However, the Fungal Colony Rank must be at least A-Rank in order to survive and be of any use. It also important to note that this jutsu does count towards your limited post actions, and the next immediate action to be taken is a Doton Jutsu (be it in the same or next post). Any Doton Technique infected with the Fungal Colony spores looks visually obviously so, with small caps sprouting in the chakra-rich soil. They are completely innocuous after the Doton technique's conclusion, however.
tabOral: • Kinruiton : Kūki no Jutsu [ Fungi Release: Burst Technique ] Rank: {Fungal Colony Rank} Strength: - Speed: {Fungal Colony Rank} Duration // Upkeep: Instant // Chakra cost equal to colony rank Description: The user releases a concentrated burst of spores into the target's face. The spores would latch onto the skin and get into the pores and eyeducts. The range and effect of this burst is dependent on the user's Oral Infliction Rank and Fungal Colony Trait(s).
• Kinruiton : Machibuse no Jutsu [ Fungi Release: Ambush Technique ] Rank: {Fungal Colony Rank} Strength: - Speed: - Duration // Upkeep: Up to three [ 3 ] posts // Chakra cost equal to colony rank Description: The user breathes a thick, heavy pour of spores from their mouth, which will proceed to settle like dust on any surface. Distance is determined by Oral Infliction Rank. The idea is the chakra-rich layer keeps the spores alive long enough until the target disturbs the area, but even a slight breeze can disturb this technique and kill the spores after one [ 1 ] post of being sent into the air. The chakra keeps the spores active for up to three [ 3 ] posts until disturbed.
• Kinruiton : Binjō no Jutsu [ Fungi Release: Fuuton Piggyback Technique ] Rank: {Fungal Colony Rank} Strength: - Speed: - Duration // Upkeep: Instant // Chakra cost equal to colony rank Description: The user performs this jutsu right before they perform any Fuuton technique in order to infect it with their spores. However, the Fungal Colony Rank must be at least A-Rank in order to survive and be of any use. It also important to note that this jutsu does count towards your limited post actions, and the next immediate action to be taken is a Fuuton Jutsu (be it in the same or next post). Any Fuuton Technique infected with the Fungal Colony spores looks visually obviously so due to being cloudier and taking on the colour hue of the user's Fungal Colony. They are completely innocuous after the Fuuton technique's conclusion, however.
