Light
This is my light, my strengh while I am weak,
My light knows no bounds and is forever by my side,
Through heartache and pain,
Through laughter and love my light showed bright,
Still to this day and forever on,
My light will be my reminder of who I am and am meant to be,
I am thankfull for my light and what it means to me.
Dark
The dark and I have differences, my opposite in the mirror,
The dark is my negativity and who I could be,
Accepting my faults the dark keeps me in check and reminds me of my borders,
The dark will not control me although it knows my fears and dreams,
I am at terms with my darkness and respect the distance we share,
I am thankfull for my darkness and what it means to me.
