...Okay, I'm a little ashamed to admit this, because honestly I've never been interested much in humanoid dolls past having my favorite one, whom I named Gekio (NOT a Barbie, though about Barbie's height and with a more oriental-style face and nice, long, dark, curly hair), beat the plastic crap out of the Barbies I somehow wound up with.

Not literally (at least not very often :'D), but me and bro always roleplayed the Barbies as being bloody idiots and they always got absolutely owned somehow. Gekio never did, 'cause she was cool and you could put her head back on after ripping it off.

Pop! Off. Pop! On.

Rinse and repeat!

Barbie heads come off and kinda...stay off.

One had a broken neck (as in, a chunk of it actually broke off) and the other one had this weird white plastic thing in her neck making sure her head stayed on. Didn't work too well, as her head certainly came off and she now has a stupid-looking white plastic strip sticking out of her neck stump.

Anywho, yes, I suppose I was a rather violent child.

...Oh, geez, you don't even wanna know about the Pokemon figures.

I loooooove Pokemon.

We made them roleplay every single idea we thought was remotely spiffy.

...Lots of cheesy video game stuff.

And Battle Royale.

Ahaha, geez. I can't believe we mixed Pokemon and Battle Royale. XDDDD

I actually got away with checking that book out from the library and reading the whole thing without getting in trouble. In elementary school. XDDDD

Okay, this is getting quite off topic.

Moonlit wants a doll.

Not any old doll; one of those fancy-pants Asian ball-jointed ones that can pose properly.

They've got such beautiful faces!

And they're big!

And they pose well and STAY posed!

So see, not only do they look great, but they'd be better than any manniquin Moonlit would care to get for drawing reference and maybe I could actually learn how to make clothes so I can do a cosplay or something...

But, see...

Moonlit's favorites are the smaller, sweeter-looking ones, and they're actually considered cheap in ABJD kingdom...

And THEY'RE around $300.

Auuuugh I waaaant oooone...

*sigh* I need to get a job this summer.
