Me: -after the fall- Ow! ok, now wheres my glasses? -looks around and finds them- just so yknow, Im practically blind without my glasses, no really it IS that bad
My first thought? start crying for mom, she'll come and make it better, second thought, moms not here, you have a bus to catch get up!.- put on glasses and slowly get up.
A traffic cop comes over to see whats up, apparently he saw me take a serious L, which I will remind you that falling on concrete hurts like a b***h.
Cop: You ok?
Me: Yeah, Im ok, am I bleeding?
cop: Yeah, just a bit under your nose and above your eye.
Me: Thanks, I have a bus to catch.
I Know I looked a mess, I mean I looked like I got in a fight or something, I guess you could say I did, only it was with gravity and I lost big time! The one time I didnt pack my mini med kit! the bus driver just gave me a look, cuz I had a napkin to my nose and it was bloody, a couple other people on the bus asked me what happened, so I told them, then I perceeded to wet my napkin with some of my water from my water bottle and clean my self up that way.
My dad picked me up cuz, I dont drive, yeah I know Im going on 22 and I still dont drive....sucks... I know I need to get movin and groovin on that. Anyway, I asked him if he could take my backpack, which I think is why I couldnt catch myself in time it overbalanced me. He took it and then he saw my face, yeah, he was surprised, so we get home and I ask mom, if she'll tend to my wounds, and yes I am one of those people who firmly believe that moms have mystical powers to make everything feel better no matter what injury it is.
She took one look and me and told me to come in and sit down, by this time my face and knees are both stinging, throbbing, bad equally painful. So I limp over to a chair, tell my story and she tends my wounds with peroxide, thank you automated fan, because that crap stings! My dad gave me a naproxin for the pain.
I have an abbrasion on my forehead, a cut above and below my left eyebrow, a cut on the bridge of my nose, one under my left nostril, a cut on the left side of my face -you can tell how I fell cant you? to the left- my right knee has two really scrapped patches, my left knee made it out with a just a small hit, and my left hand has a small cut on the palm where the skin was rubbed off.
Yeah, so Imma gonna say this now DO NOT FALL ON CONCRETE! If you have to fall, fall on grass, or blacktop, it wont tear your face to ribbons!
Im also grateful that i didnt break something, or crack my head open! it also didnt help that I was listening to Indestructable by disturbed either!
Me: Man that hurt! and they still sting!
