An Alternative Strategy to Gaining Good Gold!
One of the more well-known ways to get lots of Gaia Gold without bumping or begging is using the Marketplace to buy low and sell high.

However, this method is best used by people with a good nose for bargains, arithmetic, and a very fast internet connection. After all, the faster your computer moves on the 'Net, the faster you can snag those bargain deals.

For those with slower connections or no market sense, there IS a way to still gain a significant amount of Gaia Gold. How?

Two words: Gaia Cards.

For months, I've played Word Bump, but even with the 2k gold coming in every hour and a half, I felt it was still rather slow.

Then I tried the Marketplace. Didn't work out. True, I made money, but it was even slower, at least in my case.

So here's the method. A lot of people know about this, but not too many people seem willing to talk about HOW.

First and foremost: Buy tokens. LOTS of 'em. Preferably 5000 or more at a time. And be sure to buy 'em cheap. Always go for a 1 : 1 ratio for tokens : gold AT MAX. Try and get 'em cheaper by browsing the Marketplace.

Next, learn how to play:

Gaia Cards is invariably a game of low-stakes few-rules Blackjack, played with the odds ACTUALLY TILTED IN YOUR FAVOR. And NO, the deck is NOT rigged against you. Trust me. I've played so much, and I've GAINED great amounts of gold in return.

So, you have to get a total of 21 or below. I'm not going to go into the elaborate system of knowing probabilities of drawing certain cards or odds of winning. Just follow this technique, and you will win much more often than you will lose:

- Cards is a game of winning and losing streaks. Your chances of winning in any deal are approximately 50/50. So, maximize your winning streaks, and minimize the effects of your losing streaks. If you are running into a lengthy losing streak from the very beginning of play, restart and remake/rejoin a room to cut off your losses.

- Always bet 3 tokens every time. This cuts down the amount of playtime needed to use up all your tokens.

- Never bet with your winnings. This is the gold you're essentially gaining!

- For hitting, standing, and using double down: You always start out with two cards. If you have a numerical total of 14 or below, always hit. 15 is up to you. I usually prefer to take the risk and hit. 16 and above, stand. NO MATTER WHAT. And use "Double Down" if you start out with numerical totals of 10 or 11.

- Use the "Cheat" button as often as you can. Peek, or force the opponent to redraw if you feel that the opponent might be holding a better hand than you.

- Set aside several hours a day to play Cards. The more you can play a day, the faster the gold will come.

By following this method, you will AT THE VERY LEAST get an equal amount of tickets from the initial number of tokens you started out with.

ALWAYS sell your hard-won tickets for 2 gold each, or just SLIGHTLY cheaper.

Take off 10 or 20 gold off the entire price total of tickets being sold if you want people to buy 'em quicker. By following this method at Cards, you'll at the very least gain back monetary returns that are double the original amount of money you spent on tokens.

So, for example, if you spent about 5000 gold (Or even lower if you're good at spotting bargains on tokens in the Marketplace) on getting 5000 tokens, and if you followed these methods to the letter, you SHOULD AT THE VERY LEAST get 5000 tickets back if you're playing it right. Sell the entire bunch of tickets for 2 g each, or 10k total. You've just made a profit of 5000 gold!

Hope that helps... if you're reading this.
