I found out today that one of my good friends plays guitar. He hasn't brought it up or played when the rest of us were in the past, so I didn't know. Anyways, he is quite good actually.

But as it turns out tonight was the first time he has played in three years. I asked him why. "I was in a band with some friends...and my best friend the lead singer, he died. I just gave up on it after that."

I can't help but feel down about this. This guy is so upbeat and happy. I don't like to see him sad. emo
