Chapter 1: The missing princess and the mighty wolf guard

The fall of the Guardian's Kingdom. The death of Queen Shiira Iwatoshi.


'Quick! Guard the tower! Protect the children!' The Guardian's Kingdom was being attacked. The city was engulfed in flames. There was blood everywhere. 'Prince Sheryn is going to join us in battle.' 'Thank god! That's what we get from the Guardian of Fire.' Suddenly, there was an explosion in the tower. 'Queen Shiira has been killed! Where's the princess?'


"Lena....Lena! Hey, wake up." Lenari shrieked as she jumped up from her nightmare. She looked over to see Ryku sitting there. Ryku Katzuriyou, Lenari's personal guard. "Hey, Lena. Are you alright? You were yelling in your sleep." She nodded. "I..I'm fine. Just a crazy dream." Since the night of the Falling, young Lenari had forgotten everything about being a princess. She just knew that her brother was missing and Ryku was assigned to protect her at all costs. "Okay, lets go." Ryku stood up and held out his hand. She grabbed it and stood up. They were going to the next town to get something to eat. "Ryku....my dream....i drempt that there was a burning palace. A queen was murdered and a boy named Sheryn was in the battle. Ryku....Isn't that my brothers name?" He was startled. Could she be getting her memory back? He smiled. "Not sure." He wanted to keep her from the devastating truth. "Lets go get something to eat." She smiled. "Okay." They walked down the road, hand in hand..... (to be continued)
