If only we knew
My body is the housing that facilitates the muscle of your desire. The object of pining seems but miles away in an unattainable refuge. But what you dont know is that every ounce pumped through these arteries is a liter of love devoted to you. May soon we shall confess our parallel affection. I pray this levee of interim collapses to deluge admirers with empathy--enabling us to embrace one another, clinch for eternity. Beneath the skies, welkin shall let us breathe the same breath.

Train Tracks
there is nothing here but you and I Facing the folds of time again passing us by like some sort of ghost train Flashing spots of black then fading into white We’ve followed these tracks for months and we keep going but they never end, of course. We’re only waiting to end up where we started. But I’m sure we’ll end up in the junkyard covered in rust. When the sky is light grey and the air is soft and sharp My hands are dry and cool and the water is only calm you’re skipping over the holes in the bridge but you have to catch me when I fall through. the years pass and the cycle continues. history repeats itself and so do my words. we speak in redundant tongues and neither of us will ever leave. your mouth spews an eloquent flood but I shut mine too long ago. we speak our so-called love again and again and neither of us will ever leave this cycle of tracks and trees and gaping holes in the bridges. each day we pass and pass and twilight fades to starlight, and time is irrelevant.

Instrument Allegiant
Shadows dance with dust throughout the hall, Filled with shattered remnants of long strife. Arrows, spears and shields line every wall, Few remaining whole 'midst wreckage rife. I have been a broken sword re-forged.
Tall and pale, a tower stands alone, Girded 'round with ruins once as proud. Darkness rages loud about the stone, Seeking its white pillar to enshroud. I have been a watcher at the door.
Rainclouds sweep across a withered moor, Battling with the night and shrieking wind. Black storms furnish all they can conjure, Unchecked in their wrath, undisciplined. I have been a fiercely blazing torch.
Sword and watcher, bravely-flaming brand, Must accomplish their appointed task: Guarding all the strongholds of the land 'Til the one they watch for comes at last. I will be rewarded evermore.

A mask of plastic happiness often covers her sadness Her beliefs hidden from most Afraid of, but willing to face the unknown Wondering where her place is in this life She has come close to sharing herself Never completely revealing anything to anyone Feelings of invisible chains corner her When she dreams, reality shatters before her very eyes Accomplishments she strives for just at hands grasp She feels lost sometimes, not yet finding her notch in this world At times the glimmer in her calm eyes slowly disappears But within her heart a silent flame burns her inside and out She roams day by day, playing roles Strength unknowingly resides in her History repeats itself once again The translucent veil she so proudly wears Little by little answers will come, pushing it aside One day there will be no more mask for her to wear One day her beliefs will be known One day she'll know her place in this life One day she will share herself ONE DAY this mask will be NO MORE

Amaranth
Baptised with a perfect name The doubting one by heart Alone without herself
War between her and the day Need someone to blame In the end, little she can do alone
You believe but what you see You receive but what you give
Caress the one, the Never-Fading Rain in your heart - the tears of snow-white sorrow Caress the one, the hiding amaranth In a land of the daybreak
Apart from the wandering pack In this brief flight of time we reach For the ones, whoever dare
You believe but what you see You receive but what you give
Caress the one, the Never-Fading Rain in your heart - the tears of snow-white sorrow Caress the one, the hiding amaranth In a land of the daybreak
Reaching, searching for something untouched Hearing voices of the Never-Fading calling
Caress the one, the Never-Fading Rain in your heart - the tears of snow-white sorrow Caress the one, the hiding amaranth In a land of the daybreak
