CREEPY PASTA!!!
Good night's sleep
“Daddy, I had a bad dream.” You blink your eyes and pull up on your elbows. Your clock glows red in the darkness—it’s 3:23.

“Do you want to climb into bed and tell me about it?”

“No, Daddy.”

The oddness of the situation wakes you up more fully. You can barely make out your daughter’s pale form in the darkness of your room.

“Why not sweetie?”

“Because in my dream, when I told you about the dream, the thing wearing Mommy’s skin sat up.” For a moment, you feel paralyzed; you can’t take your eyes off of your daughter. The covers behind you begin to shift.

Ever Wonder?
Many classic horror icons, such as Geger’s Xenomorphs, Silent Hill’s Pyramid Head, and other disturbing creatures, share common characteristics. Pale skin, dark, sunken eyes, elongated faces, sharp teeth, and the like. These images inspire horror and revulsion in many, and with good reason. The characteristics shared by these faces are imprinted in the human mind.
Many things frighten humans instinctively. The fear is natural, and does not need to be reinforced in order to terrify. The fears are species-wide, stemming from dark times in the past when lightning could mean the burning of your tree home, thunder could be the approaching gallops of a stampede, predators could hide in darkness, and heights could make poor footing lethal.
The question you have to ask yourself is this:
What happened, deep in the hidden eras before history began, that could effect the entire human race so evenly as to give the entire species a deep, instinctual, and lasting fear of pale beings with dark, sunken eyes, razor sharp teeth, and elongated faces?
… Just be careful out there.

Oh s**t
A middle-aged woman was driving home from a business trip during a terrible snow storm when her car began to break down. She continued to drive until she saw a small cabin, where she decided to stop for her car's sake. She treaded through the deep snow up to the tiny cabin. It must have been very old for it did not resemble any sort of modern architecture. She nervously knocked on the door and did not have to wait too long for a short, old man to answer her. He must have been a bit confused, as he obviously did not get many visitors. She was afraid she would come off rude when she asked him if she could use his phone to call AAA, but he understood-considering the excessive snow.
She called the automobile association, however they informed her they would not be able to make it out that far in such conditions. The old man, being very kind, was fine letting her stay in the guest room. He was excited to have company, as he was a lonely man who was a bit ostracized from the rest of civilization. They had such a great discussion that they did not realize how many hours had passed. They were both incredibly tired so they began going off to their rooms. Before the woman could get into hers she heard the man call
"The bathroom is to your right..." he paused for a moment before continuing "and whatever you do, do not go to the door to the far left."
She listened to him, considering he was kind enough to let her stay for the night.
The next morning the storm continued to rage on. She woke up to find the old man making them both breakfast. He smiled and wished her a good morning. They enjoyed themselves through conversation, and by mid afternoon the woman decided she should call AAA once more. Again, they apologized for they could not make it out to help her in such conditions. The night went just as swell as the previous, however when it was time for them to go to bed the woman waited for the man to be asleep and crept towards the forbidden door. She peered into the keyhole, but to her disappointment all she could see was red. She was confused as to why the man did not want her to see such a thing when really, there was not much to see. She retired to her room and had another good night's sleep.
The following morning, the storm had mostly cleared and once again the old man was making breakfast for the both of them. After their meal she called AAA for the third time and they informed her they would be out there that night to fix her car. The old man was a bit sad she was leaving, as he was a very lonely old man.
While he was enjoying his company the woman could not take her confused state any longer. She wanted to know what he was hiding. She decided when he was not looking she would peek into the key hole one more time and so she did. This time she saw something she would never forget; there was an old woman rotting in a blood-stained bathtub in a murky, dusty room. She was so disgusted that she confronted the old man about the murder.
"Murder?!" he proclaimed, "I would never commit murder!!"
He then sat her down and told her the entire reason as to why the rotting corpse was in his bathtub. He explained how the woman was his wife, and how wonderful their relationship was. The woman could not help feel guilty while he told this story.
"One day she just dropped dead," he told her, "but the funny thing is before she died her eyes were completely red."
