Steamed chicken and egg goodness recipe
It's about time I added another recipe to this...

prep time: 10 min
cook time: about 30 min

Ingredients:
Chicken meat de-boned and skinned
(I usually use chicken thigh cause it's the best tasting part)
1 Egg
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped green onions

How it's done.

1.- I usually take one chicken thigh (when cooking for just myself) and mince the meat. You want to mince it so much that you could almost call it a chicken meat 'cake', giving you ground chicken consistency. Salt and pepper to taste.

2.- Put it in a small round bowl (that you will use for steaming) and break an egg into it. Using the egg shell, add in 1/2 an egg's worth of water into it. Add the chopped green onions.

3.- Use your fingers to mix up the egg and chicken. If you want, you can break up the egg yolk as well. Just mix it well.

4.- Set up a steamer and steam for about 20-30 minutes. At about the 15-20 minute mark you can throw in some more green onions (if you like them, which I do). They are ready when you can cut into it with a knife and the juices run clear.

5.- Serve with soy sauce and some steamed rice and enjoy!

Leftovers can be put in the fridge and then heated up for later enjoyment.
Alternatively this, this can be done with pork chops (de-bone and de-fat) and salty duck egg (which was the original recipe). You can modify the amount of egg you want into it, as well as how salty it is. The original is quite salty, so you can eat a little bit with lots of rice! n_n

Green Onion Pancake/Crepe recipe
I decided to turn this into a cooking blog. Cause I found out I love to cook and I want to share the joy. ^ ^

Today's special recipe is Green Onion Crepes/Pancakes (6 pancakes)

This is a really easy recipe and it tastes so good! It's an Asian breakfast/food type of stuff and takes about 30 minutes to make. Here we go!

Ingredients:
1 cup of flour
1/3 cup of hot water
1 tbsp chopped green onions (sometimes I put more cause I love green onions)
1 tsp of salt (depends how salty you like them)

Directions:
After heating the water, mix all the ingredients and knead until you get a smooth ball of flour. Let sit for 20 minutes and then divide into six parts.
Roll each piece into a ball and then roll flat into a thin circle, as thin as you can. You will get a small flat circle with little pieces of green onions in them.

Cooking:
Take out a 'pancake' and heat up a frying pan/wok with 1 Tbsp of oil. Fry lightly on one side and then flip. Fry until both sides have cooked and browned. Sometimes the pancake will bubble and that's OK. Fry until you're satisfied with it and it should take around a minute and a half.

Storing:
Feel free to make a batch of pancakes and store them in the freezer. Layer them with foil or with plastic wrap so that they don't stick together. Once frozen, they can just be plopped onto the pan to fry, no need to defrost. It makes for a very convenient snack as all you have to do is fry them.

I hope you like it!
