So today I woke up with a headache and generally feeling depressed and anxious about writing cover letters. Today is the due date for several jobs I've been eyeing. Ugh.. writing. Ugh.. selling myself. sweatdrop
I'm also anxious because I haven't heard back yet about my healthcare change or my grant response for going to China this summer. So, I need to figure out who to contact for both things and then contact them. stare
AND I just realized I'm late paying rent gonk Again scream That's another $75 down the drain (extra fee for paying late) crying Usually I would shrug it off as I will do better next month and I shouldn't agonize over this one because it's done. It's still a blow to my psyche though, since I thought about it every day but forgot to do it. I think I even put it on my to-do list stressed
So with all that in mind, I tried relaxing with Reddit and LinkedIn articles. That just made me sad about the gender troubles in the workplace. I haven't had to deal with anything yet, but it bothers me that the stigmas exist. emo
Then planning out my underground castle in Dwarf Fortress didn't seem exciting anymore. neutral
Then I remembered I haven't been on here in a while and decided to go shopping! Yay! xd
Wait. What am I shopping for?
First to get Nekkid. That strawberry shortcake hat had to go. I don't even know what I was thinking when I put this outfit together. Obviously I wasn't thinking at all.
Now to go back to the stores. What to buy? What outfit did I want to create?
Southern belle? Nah, that was years ago and failed. I could find stuff for it now but it's no longer appealing. I already did a Roller Derby Girl. What theme do I want?
Well, let's just start trying stuff on and seeing what I like. Yeah, that sounds good. This shirt goes with some stuff I have and like to use, so I'll buy that. I suppose this scarf will come in handy down the road..
