My words....
Basically what I happen to write when I write here...
HOLY!

Well, things are ******** up as ever in my world. Joined what to me seems like a battalions worth of people from this site who are pissed at the site. We've been just posting relentlessly on this one thread which has gotten the attention of the actual site owners and workers. Hopefully we'll see things change.

On a different note of insanity. I've become adamant to gain sponsorship for snowboarding within the next 3 years. Maybe not a huge company like Burton or Forum, something small like a shop or a retailer. Hell, I'd even be happy with just a person who buys me season passes for year so i can go shred whenever I want and not have to pay for a lift pass.

If Burton offered me a sponsorship, id most likely turn them down, I don't want to be used to sell clothes to kids. I don't want them idolizing me like I'm some kind of god. Sure, I wouldn't mind having my own line of boards, but clothes and boots? That's weird! I don't want to come home and have some kid look at me and ask me to sign every piece of outer gear he's got on. A board I wouldn't mind signing, clothes, I would. Personally I want to design snowboards, whether it be the graphics that go on them or designing a new cut shape. Reworking the directional twin base to a more friendly half twin while still keeping the directional twin price. I want to design a good looking great riding board that's easy on the pocket and will preform perfectly regardless of the riders level of ability. A learner to Pro board, is what i want to do. I learned on a battered old true twin board. And my friends, it was horrible. the binding mounts were ********, and I couldn't get any better for the 120, I paid without just buying a deck.

But you get what you paid for i guess. I recently upgraded to a newer true twin board from Salomon. Had to move up in size too. Apparently the 151 I had been riding for a guy of my size with a size 11-13 foot cant fit a 151. Now I ride a dominating 159, much much bigger and wider. The guy at the shop says because I wont have so much of my feet hanging off both sides, I'll get better and be able to land more technical tricks. And I'll be able to mad dog those corners, and slam it heavy on the lips. No more knuckle dragging for me!
