Sorrow Island
Follow your heart, out towards the sea.
The sea of illusions, the sea of your dreams.
As hope travels towards you in a small little boat,
The thoughts in your head begin to float.
But as the good thoughts rise, so do the bad.
They come as sharks, to destroy what you had.
Your hopes are slashed to peices as the sky turns red
The good thoughts are overpowered, and the sea turns dead.
All that you treasured sinks to the floor,
You stare in horror along the shore.
The rain falls down, and the red sky goes gray
But a rainbow may come, and brighten the day.
One life preserver draws up from the sea!
It floats towards your island, so you may be free!
And through the clouds comes a thick ray of light!
The last hope has come, and you can fight!
The good thought approaches, and you think how it lasted,
Realizing it couldn't survive, your mind is blasted..
..By just one more shark, who devours the last free day,
The emotions have trapped you, and in sorrow, you'll stay.
