I crossed my legs and steadily increased the power of my glare. Dad sighed and stared at his bagel. my brother ran some lines under his breath. Mom slammed a fist on thee table and caught all of our attention. "I know," she said in a completely fake happy tone," That on the iside you are all screaming for joy about being left homw for a week." After Dad had answered that call from his devil producer (named Lucius ironically enough) we found out that both Mom and Dad had been offered roles in an upcomng movie that invovled lots of singing ans smiling. No. Really. It was a musical, since those seemed to be really popular righ tnow. it was called something like 'Toenail" or someother nasty part of the body. i mean, really? Toenail? Who wants to watch two hours about toes? So now we were all sitting at the table and i was a tad upset becasue once again, the stars were shining and i was left alone. "Moon,"my mother called to me as i ran up the stairs. "Are you goign to be okay at the house alone?" "Sure mom" i said as sweetly as i could. "Just becasue the other two suddenly get offered chances of a lifetime and also get to go with you and i stay home alone. again. does not mean anything is wrong." She rubbed her temple. "Well maybe if you put forth a little more effort.." "What effort? i can sign, sct, or dance.
