alright so lemme give it to ya straight. i very, very much like dragons, and i have a few thoughts on the whole fire breathing thing.

buckle up

SO. lets start with this handsome fella right here:



isnt he cute lets call him charlie

now lets take a closer look at charlie's mouth:



now, as you see here, i labeled two things: a little hole in the jaw containing little rocks that make sparks when they rub together, and a gland containing liquid that can be easily heated up and excreted as gas. you see where im going with this

NOW. if the dragon in question, charlie, were to shake his head, the little rocks would rub together and make little sparks. if he were to excrete the gas at the same time that he shook his head to make sparks, then boom. the gas catches fire and now theres a giant pillar of flame coming out of its goddamn mouth. congrats
