Trimblebeam is a made-up character, but it would be quite a mistake to say she didn't have thoughts. It's also worth noting that Trimblebeam is not a name necessarily limited to a small pixelated lass with blue hair and at the moment only underwear and a shovel to her name.
Of course, this journal will more than likely function as a record of Trimblebeam thoughts. So it shall be written as a record, not a heart-and-soul confession. In that line, beginnings must be made.
I like to use the third person. It makes everything sound so terribly official. Inflates my sense of importance, makes me feel like sitting on a gilt velvet throne and making supercilious decrees. Which of course would not be supercilious since I would be ruler and ruler-hood sanctifies all decisions.
To be king is to be a mortal god.
Of course, if we realized this, could we stand being governed? We'd have utter anarchy. No one wants to recognize that monarchs are (in)fallible. So maybe it's better we turn our blind eyes away from the mistakes of the monarchs.
Well. I'm not a political scientist. What do I know?
