Brian took me to the Renaissance Festival this weekend for our anniversary. I'd always wanted to go to one, and he kept telling me how fun it is. And damn was he right. It was great. We stayed there almost 7 hours. There were soooo many shops, and places to eat, and there were some weird games and rides. And the bathroom was really freaky, they made it look sort of like a nice outhouse. The stalls were wooden and the toilet paper was held up by ropes. It was weird.

Brian got a sakabatou and I got a tiara and a necklace. It was neat-o. xp We're planning on going back for the last weekend. It's gonna be Christmas-themed, and we'll probably dress up for it. This time we just went in plain clothes. Gotta get my white renaissance dress from Sheridan so I can dress liek a snow princess! <3 We'll have more money then to buy more junk and try more of the food next time, too. Thist time, we got a Royal Hamburg from the German section. It was a good steak burger with mushrooms, onions, mustard, mayo, and sauerkraut. It was pretty damn good. Next time, I wanna try a turkey leg, mushrooms on a stick, and maybe (just maybe) cheesecake dipped in chocolate on a stick. And they have these giant pina coladas and strawberry daquiris, I might get one of those too...

The pictures aren't very good... The camera was just a little $20 one from WalMart, but I'd much rather have these then no pictures at all. Next time I'm just going to take pictures of me and Brian though, cause this time I didn't get any of us together.

It was a blast though... I can't wait to go again. If not this year, then next year. Long live the RenFest! lol
