I've heard that my studio painting teacher was a hard a** and he proved it when I was in his figure drawing class and my friend and I were not doing his way of sight measuring. Well, I understood his method but rolling the measuring stick across your finger-what the hell? My friend and I did not get it at all.
Yesterday, during my drawing composition class this girl told me that her cousin who took the figure drawing/studio painting teacher and he dropped her grade down b/c she didn't do some method or something his way.
Does that sound right to you? Who says we have to do things YOUR way?? Not everybody is the same and everybody has a different to come about things. But to drop a grade b/c of that...psh, screw that! You are not worth my money.
So I dropped Figure drawing. You're probably wondering if I can take another teacher on that subject-*shakes her head* nope, he's the only one. This is just like my calculus teacher in high school. He was the only one and he sucked!!
So screw the teacher. I'll just take his studio painting as long as I can (meaning if I get a bad grade, I drop). I might as well since I had to go buy the sh*t for the class. Now the ppl from an art store up north thinks he's crazy. But then again...they did chuckle when we mention the teacher's name. Lol!
