Three years. Three years since my last entry... much has changed.
Emily moved out and Jonathan moved in two years ago.
I totaled my Grand Am, my Silver Beast, in a deer collision. Replaced it with a Chrysler 200c which was under recall and caused me some wicked problems for a few weeks until it got fixed.
Dad had a heart attack and almost died... he's still homeless, still living out of his truck and sleeping in the back room of a cousin's shop. Right now he's back in the hospital because he isn't taking care of himself.
I had my RTL job taken from me, and before I was forced into a lesser position I was made MTL (two steps above RTL) and then this past summer I had the MTL job pulled out from under my feet (nothing personal) and was given Inventory Coordinator instead. Less pay, but no longer management. it's like RTL without the TL part.

And... HOLY FARKING SHIAT GAIA. What the hell is with this inflation?! It was shocking when it first began, but this is nuts! I'm not an idiot, but I can't even make sense of the prices of things anymore. I used to be rather wealthy by Gaian standards three years ago. Now I'm a pauper. I have multi millions, and I can't afford s**t. Seriously? Gaia, I understand you need money to pay your people and to keep the site running... but it seems like coughing up cold hard cash is the only way to get anywhere on this site anymore. Did you see the aforementioned vehicle purchase? Believe me, I don't have the extra disposable income right now. Y'know, being an adult with responsibilities and s**t.

Seriously, I only came back because I wanted to play PinBall, and because I discovered a work wifey is here on Gaia too. (Hi weezbe!!)
