Raven sighed for what would seem to him the millionth time that day. He got up from his seat at the table and placed the book he had been skimming back on the shelf. On the inside he was curious about his flashbacks and about who he was but he wold never ask his master Khaphier. He wandered outside to the garden and flshed around just in time to block the stake that would have pierced him in the heart. His eyes narrowed to slits and a low gutteral growl came from his slightly parted lips. "If you know what is good for you, show yourself and I will kill you quickly..." Attempts on his life had not been rare these days. It seemed everyone was out to get him. Sometimes he even doubted his masters truthfulness. A chuckle came from the one bent on destroying him. "And who says you will kill me at all? You will come to me for your answers.." Raven felt the person's presence leave suddenly and frowned. He looked for the would-be assassin angrily but was left with no trace but the haunting memories of his words.
