There was an intense earthquake here in Hawaii yesterday morning at 7 something in the morning. I'm not sure how big it officially was. I beleive 6.7 but I also am hearing 6.9. Anyways it was big and massive and freaky, yet what an experiance! I woke up from the violent shaking and rumbling of the earth and an instant later my big heavy mirror landed on me lying in my bed. It of course hurt and all I heard was the growling earth and constant shattering glass. There was so much broken glass in my room that I couldn't leave the room. (i could barely lift the mirror off of me though so there wouldn't have been enough time to get out. I figured that the house was going to colapse and images of my room caving in on me ran through my tightly closed eyes as I covered my head with my arms and hands and waited for my doom. Then it was over and my big brother opened my door and asked if I was alright. i said yes and he ignored the fact that I was under a mirror and he left to check on the rest of our family. I was alive...the rest didn't matter.
We recorded the damage with a video camera. No MAJOR damage was done but a lot of things were damanged. We still can't find Stanley our cat and I assume the worst. We left after I got ready for work and gathered my things. The little kids went to Granma's and I was dropped off early at work to do some homework. Mom Dad and Spencer went to the shop. Starbucks seemed to get lucky and same goes with our shop...only a few statues broke, but none of the glass table tops. We were still able to open the shop and Dad worked the day. I then worked for the rest of the day as well as my brother and mom with the help of the little kids worked there asses off cleaning the house. I dreaded coming home to clean my disaster of a room. To my surprise and joy, I came home to a perfectly clean and tidied room that my brother had wanted to clean for me. What a lovely big brother I have. He was worried that I had the most trauma from the incident and "didn't want me to come home to have to clean my room after a day at work." How kind of him.
The earthquake was intense and will be the talk of the town for a while. No deaths were caused by it, as far as I know.

So yeah the JROTC car wash was today and I went and helped out a bit. We brought doughnuts for the guys and they were all happy. But yeah lunch was the bomb...fried chicken, rice, and kailua pork and cabbage. Hell Yeah! Yumm....
I have to go to work in a while. The car wash was fun though.

Today I had to go to school, anfd that just about sucks. I had some fun during lunch though, hanging out with Bruno, Jared, Harry, and Megan. Then sixth period was easy and we watched a movie so that was nice. I then when to work after school and had a blast. Sasha was hilarious and we were cracking up laughing most of the time. She is so much fun. I got home a little while ago and I have to get offline unfortunatly but I just wanted to say I had a pretty good day.

I intently cleaned my room today. It usually is tidy, but my mother wanted me to clean it more since everyone else has had to thses last couple of days. So I did the much needed vaccuming and I even went through my closet shelf tht had old crap on it. Ergh! I hate ants! It is ant season right now here and there are even more than ever for we didn't get as much rain as usual during the summer. Oh wells, soon they will be leaving.

So I was just at Teen Court earlier this night, as a jury member, and it was hilarious. Atleast three people were stoned. It was quite funny and ironic. Most people don't go to court like that razz But whatever, that how people are. It was hard though cause me and this one chick Ashley had to work hard nt to bust out laughing at them while in the serious processes.

One thing I love about the mainland and miss is that I don't have to pay $3.99 for a 6oz. carton of rasberries. That goes for all of the berries. They are so expensive. I loved stopping on the side of the Free-Way to buy berries, corn or something or other. My mom used to take me and my brother to those large fields of berries and we would spend the day with baskets, picking them in the sun together. Strawberries, blueberries, rasberries, and occasionally blackberries. (We were little so the thorns hurt us.) It's just a bummer, and today I was thinking of that. We used to live in Washington and it was always a blast. I love Pike Place Market, it's my favorite.
Well, this was quite a random first journal.
