Prologue:
And so it began, Mother Gaia and Father Time decided they would create a new world, with their powers placed together, a new source of life was born. To this new land it was given the name of Gaia. For Gaia to be complete, Mother Gaia gave birth to the Sun, and the Moon.

The Sun, with the gift of the powers of his mother, and his father's wisdom, gave birth to life in Gaia, plants and animals were his gifts, he ruled the world of those he called Gaians, he loved them and cared for them, but could only stay in the sky and see them grow, protecting them with his warm power.

The Moon was weaker than her brother, but she was gifted with something the Sun wished to have, it wasn't her mothers beauty or the powers to generate long living creatures of her father, it was something more, since the Sun was more powerful, the Moon would be able to walk freely in Gaia, and return to the Sky whenever she wanted.

And so, the influence of the Moon was the source of evil creatures in Gaia. Werewolves, Vampires, Demons, Shadow Spirits, and even Living Pumpkin People, it was hell on Gaia, the Sun was sad, he send his Angels to Gaia, to protect those he cared for, but with the Moon on Gaia, and the Sun in the sky, the fight was one sided, and was like that, until the resistance was born.

The resistance was lead by the self proclaimed Monster Hunter, his real name was a mystery, but everyone called him Hunter. He lead the resistance army, along side with the angels of Gaia to the battle field, the forces of the moon were outnumbering the resistance, but it slowly faded down the hope the Hunter gave to all of them, the battle didn't last more than a year, when almost all of the Moon's creatures disappeared and the Moon retreated to her castle in the unknown region of Gaia, the rebellion was triumphant, but Hunter, the leader of the resistance, disappeared in the battle, and was never found.

Some are those who say he died in the war, some say he was a fictional creation to impulse the Resistance which disappeared after the war, and some say, he is still alive, protecting Gaians against the little amount of Moon creatures, but only he knows the truth, he left the resistance before the war was over, and no one knows why, or when.

* * * * * Battlefield 5 Hours after the Battle Was Over * * * * *

A man dressed all in black, using a weird looking musketeer like hat with an eye patch on his face, a tide with the moon logo on it and a long black scarf covering his mouth was making his way through what seemed to be the ruins of a battle field, he stopped his march for a few seconds and took his katana out and then pointed it to a small figure which was resting down the shadow of a tree, the little Shadow Spirit like creature made no move in defense, just stayed there not making a move.

Hunter: Give me one good reason… for me not to kill you.

The Shadow looked at the now ex-leader of the rebellion and said nothing, the Hunter placed his katana more and more close to the creature, it never made a move, but replied.

Shaoshi: I lost my parents in the war, both of them died; I have nothing to live for.

The hunter placed his sword down and looked at the creature, compassion appearing in his deep red eye, he took his katana away and looked for something in his back, taking out a cookie and offering it to the Spirit who was driven by the hunger and the smell of the cookie, he ate it, regaining strength and then looked at the hunter.

Hunter: My parents were killed by Shadow Spirits… I think we are even.

Both stayed there, looking at the other straight to the eyes, no words were said, but weren’t needed, both lost what they cared for, and even if they were enemies, they shared the same pain, for the first time ever, Shadow Spirit and Gaian, were equal.
