This is a three-verse Haiku that was written in the p.o.v. of a character of mine, Happee. She's kind of like Harley Quinn, from Batman, except a bit more extreme... You'll see what I mean once this thing is up.
Before the actual thing, let me write a small bio about her...
She was a street performer, with the rest of her family. However, one day, a rich man and his body guards took her away from her family, who hated her anyway. (She found that out later.) Once within the man's possession, she found out why he had kidnapped her to begin with. It was for her power. She had the ability to make anyone's nightmares a living reality. And in the end, the victims would always die. Her captor raised her until she was about 14, giving her room and board, as well as a rich person's education.
However, she hated the man she lived with, and after he threatened her, she killed everyone in the house, including him, and ran off to join the circus. That is why she is called "The Jestress". There, she lived for a while as the main attraction, by bringing people's nightmares to life, and killing them in front of hundreds of others. (Of course, this was a dark circus. I'm sure you figured that out by now, but, just in case you hadn't...)
And so, without further ado, here's the three-verse Haiku!!
People falling down
Look like a bunch of rag dolls
Their blood coats my hands
People falling down
Their blood glistens on my knife
I have killed them all
I can hear their screams
The people that have just died
And it makes me...Happee
