Nihongo!!!!
While eating my tea-flavored rice ball, you should be familiar with the meanings and uses of these letters. What makes the language difficult is knowing japanese alphabets that are more than the common ABC's and added with one of these special picture letters called Kanji. They are more detailed and where borrowed from another foreign language. Barsinger John of course this takes a loooong time to learn a lang. this tough, so memorize it carefully.
Kana = Hiragana and Katakana
Katakana =
Letters derived from China. They have straight
edges than hiragana because they are used for writing
names like "Goku" (Go-ku) and Nana (na-na). Also,
foreign non-japanese names like Alice and Jessie into
----> Aaresu (A-re-su) and Jiyaseii (ji-ya-se-ii). Since,
Japanese doesnt pronounce c as an s, the syllables are
broken down to kana letters to support the similar
pronounciation in a Japanese style of address
your name in their culture. And finally, this
writing is used for words that are brand new
like "video game" or words that are not related to
the Japanese culture like Giraffe-- (Kirin)
Hiragana =
The Japanese writing system. They are used
for words of how they sound or read. They help
sentences visible from the Kanji pictures that
makes it readable. To tell the difference from
the Katakana they have curled tails, loops like the
"no" and "su" and curves such as "sa" to make
them look flexable looking.
