After Arriving late for his post watch duty, Barney Has been locked out of the station he arrives at due to computer troubles all over the Black Mesa research Facility.
After Getting in and suiting up he moves his way to his post..The elevator falls with him and two other collegues in it.Surviving the impact he realizes that he must get out of Black Mesa as soon as possible.
On his way he crosses Dr. Rosenberg, one of the ones responsible for the catastraphy.and he moblizes to get him and others out of Black Mesa...
After Black Mesa, and after the combine take over.. He is in charge of a huge resistance in City 17, the head where Dr. Breen, rules over.
Barney,Gordon and Alyx fight their way to free the city and drive the combine away..After Dr. Breen Opens up a feirce portal, Barney gets everyone out of city 17.
