Why can't men
even try to search
they judge you by the mask
on their little perch.
Woman understand
there's more than meets they eye
and see what's underneath
even when you don't cry.
Even with a mask
you no longer own
men see you as that,
just another clone.
They don't see
that we can be different
and not all the same
not all one segment.
Under all masks,
new or old
are our true faces,
truth be told.
Take the time
to seek permission
then you gain
the soul's admission.
Don't judge the person
on the mask they wear
or judge on their old masks
that are no longer there.
