Love

That is one of the most confusing, difficult, misused, and impossibly strange words in the human language, after all, we say it to our Family, our Friends, Our significant others, but we truly underestimate the emotion and feeling that it belongs too, we as humans tell everyone we know we love them simply to show that we care for them, that they mean something to us, that if they were gone we would somehow be affected and changed for the better or for the worse, I myself am still perplexed by this emotion but having fumbled with it prior I can give a list of what it is NOT

Love is not
-How good the sex is
-How long you cuddle
-How long the phone conversations last
-How long you can go without seeing each other
-How hard you cling
-How much you never want to let go

and the list can be expanded exponentially, I am not telling you to go off and stop saying it all together I am simply remarking on the paradox of how we use that word so warmly and lovingly when in truth Love is most certainly one thing: Perplexing.

Life

Life, is nothing more than a game of cards, let me explain. We begin by examining the staple of every card game, The Dealer, this is a man who hands you a set of cards, and depending on your choices you either hold onto your cards, or toss them away and the dealer hands you another, these, are the Choices that life brings, and every choice brings you closer to the end of the Deck of Life, now then the deck itself consists of several hundred upon thousands of cards, each bringing a new pain, or presenting a new opportunity, but we cannot make a choice, without opening room for another card to be dealt, we can hold the cards but this too, can cause complications because life, cannot hold forever, now the end of the game comes in one of three ways, you either run out of cards and walk away from the table, you take yourself out of the game, or due to your terrible hands and bad card holds you get taken out. It's quite simple really regardless of who your dealer is, it is up to you to decide how to play the game, when to hold, and when to throw it all in.
