At around 4:45 this morning while coming home from the route my dad and I hit a deer. My dad was driving, I was in the passenger seat.

The deer ran into the front of the car (yes ran into) hitting the diver side/center, killing one of my headlights and deploying the air bags. We were going at 55mph, the speed limit, and it was a big a** dear.

Dad got out of the car, walked to the back and collapsed, somehow I got out, went to check on him and turned off the car, then called 911. I got to stand next to him while talking to the cop and probably yelled at him that I needed the rescue squad cause my dad was a cardiac paciest and had collapsed.

We had one woman stop to be sure we called the cops before she moved down the road and sat with her flashers on till the rescue squad got there.

I called mom first, couldn't get my hubby at home, then called Chryssta while waiting for the squad to get there.

The squad had to pick up dad and get him onto the stretcher, and because of his heart attack prior to this and his pain they were treating this like another one, so they got him to the hospital ASAP.

Mom and I waited for the cops to get there before we could go, and I got someone from work to go to my house and wake my hubby and they told him where to meet us.

I had to get a pregnancy test done to confirm I was not pregnant at the hospital, then I got x-rays done on my knee & chest. My knee is bashed to heck, my broken toes that were healing are funny colors, I've got burns from the powder in the air bags over my arms and face. My lungs hurt from the chemicals I breathed in. I just finally got hearing back in my ears. It hurts for me to walk, and I'm still smelling the smell from the air bags. The have me on two types of pills, a pain killer and anti-inflammatory.

Once they got dad's heart regulated they released him and put him on pain pills.

My car has a busted light, busted radiator, and of course the air bags, but who knows how bad it is under the hood.

The deer is dead...

And I gotta go to work tonight.
