Anthologies of Sorrow
Just like death, sorrow portrays it self in different avatars. We may be capable of knowing that sorrow that stares deep into our eyes, but knowing the pleassure of it, we deny ourselves to be pulledd away. I, have faced sorrow too much...[The work
Danna
I sat alone inside a crowded restaurant. I was the only one present without any party members, but I did not mind, I had just departed from my labor and I needed to relax. A woman waiter approached me with a welcoming smile. It was the type of smile that was trusworthy.

She questioned by current status, as I did to her as well in a friendyl manner. She recommened the special, and the special I received. As I ate, she would come check on me. It was not until I had finished, paid my bill and gave her an honest tip that I began to question if she is truly that friendly or simply acting for the tips. I just took my silence and left to my residence.

I got on the trolley, an outdoor subway, and began to wonder how to finish off my day. The sky was orange and the sun was wishing its fans a good night. I still considered enough time for me to act until the Sandman came to visit my mind. I was analyzing those who rode the trolley with me. There was a man who portrayed a strong sense of stress in his facial imagey, either that or he needed his fix. A woman far away with a back pack; relaxed after her finals. A child with her mother sitting side by side after currently visint the nearby amusement park. Then, a man in black that was reading the newspaper. His face was unknown, since he hid it behidn the newspaper.

The person was not of my attention, but the newspaper itself. The font was blurry, so I took a few steps closer for me to read it. "Woman's dissapearing without a trace" was the headline. Not to be coldhearted, but I did not care about that. The city I was currently in many people dissapeared without a trace. It was becoming a theory to many that UFOs or a replica of the Bermuda Triangle was being a role.

I looked out of the window to notice the sudden change of scenario. The sky was dark blue with its crystals shining bright. A strong rain fell upon the earth without clouds. It was uncanny. I felt something on my coat jacket. I pulled it out and it was a letter addressed to me. I opened it reading its contents that were soon becoming a funeral notice. Her name was imprinted in black.

I woke up immediately. My heart beated with a strong haste with my breath becoming heavy. I have never heard or seen this woman before, but her image was crystal clear. She was a phantom to me. A dream figure. A muse. There was no true personafication but that of what my mind had created, yet I felt a love for something or someone that I could never receive that romantic feeling from. Her name, Danna.
