Why would you inflict this book on the world?
This book was a complete and total waste of time. Stephanie Meyer created a book that was totally made for fan service and it is not well thought out, nor does it even keep the logic that she created the Twilight world in.

In Breaking Dawn Bella is faced with the choice between staying human and having children, her family and friends: and growing old or having Edward and giving up all of those things. Despite what we believed S. Meyer created it so that Bella could have all of these things, including immortality and her new found vampire abilities. She didn’t need to deal with any loss or growth to fit into her new vamiric life; she simply was “designed to be a vampire.” No one is born to be a vampire. She also completely skipped over the blood-lust newborn stage apparently for convenience and times sake. She didn’t have to learn how to deal with the good and bad consequences of her choices. She just got the best of everything.

Bella also learned how to control her new vampire power in no less than a month and learned how to completely manipulate it in no time at all. S. Meyer made this book so that everything was easy for all of the characters, and they had to go through no character development at all. Everything went smooth and easy without and pain or turbulation.

First of all, Bella becoming pregnant is completely ridiculous. Edward is a vampire that is stuck in time. All of his bodily functions from when he was a human have completely stopped, including the ability to have children. Apparently not in Stephanie Meyer’s deluded mind. Edward doesn’t even have the ability to produce tears for crying, let alone live freakin’ sperm that has the capacity to impregnate a woman. Not only did Bella become pregnant but the baby completely developed in the timespand of a month. The baby growing at this rate makes no sense. Vampires are stuck in time while humans grow at a very slow rate, so why in the world does the baby grow so ridiculously fast? Again for convenience sake, and to not drag the story over a long period of time, even if it doesn’t make any sense in the world of Twilight. There’s no consistency.

Jacob’s imprinting. Completely and utterly preposterous. First of all Jacob was in love with Bella for years. He envisioned himself marrying her, and starting a family with her, but she chose Edward. There was barely any development on his side of growing stronger and learning how to deal and than accepting Bella’s choice and eventually learning to grow happy and falling in love. Not only did Stephanie Meyer completely skip this process but she put in the most ridiculous scenario possible. Something I wouldn’t even read in a fanfiction. He imprinted on Bella’s half VAMPIRE BABY! If the thought of imprinting on a baby wasn’t disturbing or stupid enough, it’s a vampire. The very creature that he turned into a werewolf to despise and destroy. Not love. Jacob falling in love with a hybrid vampire goes against his entire being and everything he believes in. It’s not even possible that he would fall in love with one let alone IMPRINT on one. Meyer just as easily could have made Jacob and Leah learn to grow and heal with each other and then fall in love. She introduced this development and then cut it off before it even had any time to turn into anything. What in the world was Stephanie Meyer thinking when she wrote this?

Stephanie Meyer hasn’t even learned how to use her words to the maximum result and not waste time or descriptions. She kept going on an on about the fight with the Volturi and how there was no hope, and even how they all were going to die. She introduced us to the possibility and even prepared us for it, but at the end neither happened! She wasted so many pages on something that didn’t even take place. She should have followed up to her story and brought some darkness into the book to let us know that not everything was happy, and there are consequences to choices. I mean c’mon it’s a vampire book, just a little darkness please. I lost so much respect for Stephanie when she ended the book for the fans. I wish she had killed off the characters. It would have made me think she wrote the book the way she planned for herself and not for the millions of people reading it. It felt like she didn’t stay true to her story, and disappointed me greatly.

The way things ended was just a way for everyone to get a happy ending with as little pain as possible. No tears, no angst, just happiness and candy for everyone. At the beginning Stephanie Meyer said she wrote Twilight for herself but after reading the fourth installment it makes me think she wrote Breaking Dawn for the fans. This is a vampire series, and vampires are essentially cursed beings that are doomed to walk the earth forever sucking the life from other beings and damning themselves. There was so darkness whatsoever in Twilight, just a stupid human girl who falls passionately in love with a vampire who is a “vegetarian”. In Breaking Dawn there wasn’t even any darkness from a human aspect, just a clean cut happy ending for everyone. Who in the world would choose to unleash this book on the world? Apparently Stephanie Meyer and her crackpot editors.
