	Music History 2: Baroque and Early Classical Era in music


This is the topic for this term ! ^.^ tee hee i shall write a bit about this topic too! biggrin squee! Lully Mid Baroque era, died because he dropped his conducting stick on his foot, got gangrene and refused to have it operated on. (amputation so he doesnt get blood poisioning) and then died of blood posioning! lol werid bloke that Lully was. J.S Bach late baroque era. Most famous- well at least one of the most famous composers of the time. created works such as Brandenburg Concertos Solo Cello suites Various instrumental concertos Various Instrumental sonatas Choral Pieces- such as St johns and St Matthews Passion (with a small baroque / early classical chamber orchestra ) Cantatas Oratorios and loads more- i'm just slightly too lazy to list them all here.. anways there was other composers such as: Handel Antoher world famous composer Haydn another world famous composer- who wrote some of the /best/ Cello Concertos! biggrin woot! xD Bunny Sky · Sat Sep 17, 2005 @ 04:24am · 2 Comments
