Here are the features that have been found out at the E3...

Single Player:
- updated AI
- Ability to take cover
- Able to pick up weapons from the ground
- Longer campaign mode
- Four Boss Battles in Total: Bosses have to be taken down step by step. For
example, in the first battle Ford has to first shoot tendrils around the boss’ neck
before they are blasted off a turret, then shoot the boss in the mouth, and finally
shoot it with an electric harpoon in two spots to create a circuit and kill it.
- Perks can be unlocked (they are than usable in multiplayer mode)
- Ability to sprint "works great... does not interfere with any of the other motion
going on" (also in multiplayer)
- Mr Ford uses a wrench as a melee weapon to begin with
- Breakable objects and cover is important (mr ford smashes a window to escape)
- Table flipping from red-steel.
- many levels will offer multiple paths for the player to take, and each path will
offer different gameplay experiences.
- players will create custom loadouts by purchasing weapons from an in-game
store using points they earn while playing
- 21 unique weapons - including seven new firearms & weapons of the first game.
(also in multiplayer)
- The iron sights are back again (also in multiplayer)

Multiplayer:
- Up to now there are 15 maps int the game. HVS is looking to add more maps by
the launch of Conduit2
- Adding new maps and those voted by players. (Possibility of all old maps
returning)
- Uncapped FPS: When staring at a wall it can get up to 70 FPS. With explosions
and action can drop to 28 fps
- There is a max of 12 players online (same as The Conduit)
- 4-players co-op on online and offline games. (Invasion is a co-op mode where
waves of enemies come at you)
- 4-player offline splitscreen (bots still questioned)
- Missions can be played together. (not the campaign though)
- Sniper rifle (phase rifle): Slow to use; long reload time; can shoot through some
walls; if locked onto someone heat sync.
- WM+ is used to keep the curser on-screen when remote points away - Works
really well. (yes, wii motion plus is being supported this time around)
- Wii Motion Plus NOT being used for melee attacks.
- Still in discussions regarding DLC: Added maps, guns, etc...
- Post release patches to be released: help fix bugs & balance game.
- Perk system similar to Call of Duty's.
- 21 unique weapons - including seven new firearms & weapons of the first game.
(also in singeplayer)
- Level and weapon voting system has been changed.
- Voice chat is able via Wii-Speak and the new Headbanger Headset
- You can voice chat with friends and none friends (the none friends are probably
the ones from the Rivals list)
- Ally list to add up to 96 other players (works like the rivals function in Metroid
Prime Hunters for DS)
- Friend codes required to add "friends".
- Respawning after death is almost instantaneous.
- Respawning time differs depending on the game mode.
- You can make noise to get help while you’re out of it to call attention to your
lifeless body.
- Two new game modes to the online multiplayer. (One of them is probably the
invasion mode which is also playbale offline)
- 30 suit options
- Suit options affect character appearance and adds abilities (Stealth suit: Your
character won't appear on the radar. Tank suit: Character can carry up to two
heavy weapons at a time instead of only one.)
- Ability to sprint "works great... does not interfere with any of the other motion
going on" (also in singleplayer)
- There is a sniper rifle (also in singleplayer)
- the SCAR is now fully automatic (also in singleplayer)
- The iron sights are back again (also in singleplayer)
