Let me at it
Set me loose
Cut the strings
So my wings can break free.
Because its building,
A pressure rising
If it explodes while I'm confined
You're all going down with me.
What I want is simple,
I can tell you that.
My heart to be set racing
And my skin set afire.
Go ahead and give me your best shot
Try to set my blood pumping
And make me lose control.
My mind is one long track and I want it set on you.
I'll promise on a head - yours to be exact
That if you set me loose I'll give you a whirl.
Just give me the challenge
And cut the strings.
If you can light the fire
I can stoke the flames,
Then our wings can break free
And the pressure will build to its final peak.
So come on and pick up the torch.
Give me your best shot
While I make good on this promise.
All you have to do is set me free.

My poetry almost always reflects what I am feeling at the time the poem was written. I use a lot of imagery and metaphors in my work, too. . . I think it is quite obvious what I am feeling right now. twisted xd xp scream I hope you enjoyed my . . . "Pressure riser" for the day. *evil grin*
