Damn. What a crappy day. *SIGH* Methinks it will get worse too. Oh well. Am only 2 or 3 lessons from getting my P's... hooray! Driving without supervision for me! But at the same time, my instructor doesn't shut up! xd

Bleurgh. Off to do more stuff... (this is meant to be my day off, dammit!) And I'm filming next week! When am I meant to do all these assignments they keep burying me under?!

Good: The idea was AWESOME! So many people had fun and I LOVED what the zombies looked like, and also all the new items looked really cool! (I like the spikey bits that come off them) The story was fun and all the new semi-NPCs (like the Labtech guys) and the new NPC reporter are cool! Jack is fun to find on the map and to click on and get things and I liked the missle that went for the mansion. PLUS, the alterations to the map were GREAT, since it let everyone know that SOMETHING was going on - the decorations that have been up are great, and now that huge hole where Gambino used to live. Plus, I LOVED the signed photo of Gambino diving from the blast - loved it SO much! Oh yeah, and I almost forgot... The Halloween costumes released in shops are AWESOME! I love them! So fun! I wish I could afford the Maid's outfit! It's sooooo cool!

Bad: The lag wasn't too bad for me, although many others complained about it. My main complaints were that my avi did not change into a zombie ( crying ) at all after I was infected, even though I could bite people and such. It was very disappointing because I loved what they looked like xd Sometimes I couldn't click the little avatars up the top to bite or whatever - which would only be some little errors, methinks, since it usually worked. Ummm.... what else did I gripe about? Oh yeah! Just the windows for Trick-or-Treating were quite small. I understand that it keeps the items special and requires people to do a bit of work to get them, but nightime for me falls at about 2am in the morning (when I'm asleep) and 2pm in the afternoon (when I'm usually in class) so it was hard in that aspect (but I'm not sure if that's a REAL downside, since it would've been a little dodgy to alter time just for Halloween... maybe a solar eclipse? xd ) Oh and a couple of times I got a candy from someone *coughMoiracough* and it said it had given the candy to me, but it was not in my inventory candy slot... And some people are saying they can't equip some items (but I don't have those ones so I don't know)

Verdict: Even though there were some problems that I had, I thought this event was so fun and exciting, since we didn't know what was going to happen! I really REALLY loved those zombies! xd It was STACKS of fun and I'm really looking forward to what the admins are going to put forward for Christmas! (and in relation to the lag, I didn't think it was as bad as the Olympic one!)

The new Halloween trick-or-treat items are out! And the event started without me! crying (plus everyone's offline)

Crap crap! I'll never get one! Everyone is selling the items at huge prices and I can't go trick or treating for candy because the GMT time is 9.11am, and it's 9.25pm for me now... on Sunday night... that means if I get up early tomorrow morning, I might be able to get a piece because I think we're ahead so it should be the last night cycle... sad

It sucks cos I was at a real Halloween last night and couldn't get online! Phooey! *runs into the mansion and tries to get bitten so she can at least take a photo of herself as a zombie as a momento*

PS - oh, and if you were wondering what I dressed up as for our Halloween party, I was a hula girl xd My mum had a real hula skirt from when she used to travel - it was cool... although it moulted grass a bit... Then I just borrowed my sister's bikini (cos it was orange with flowers, and mine is blue), added a flower in my hair, a shell braclet on my ankle and one of those flower necklaces and POOF! Hula girl! I got a photo taken, but it has to be developed methinks... xd

Okay, it's not Halloween for another *checks date* 3 days, but I bought my Gaia Halloween outfit xd It's the caveman one... I wanted the maid outfit, but I couldn't afford it all! crying I hope they stay in shops for all eternity so I can save up for it... ninja

Um. I have nothing more to say except (although I realise that no one reads these) that I am selling things in my shop in the market place, so if you're looking for stuff go and have a looksee.... I'm trying not to be poor xd

Ooooeerr! Shiney new avatar system! How exciting! Since the weapons/fishing rods/etc aren't out yet, which are obviously what the new poses are for, I have chosen my ninja outfit and a carrying pose which looks a bit like a 'bring it on b***h!' pose to me xd

It took me 10 tries to get it to change due to heavy server traffic the errors informed me eek Well, I suppose I am on quite early and it's not quite American bedtime yet, and there's something new to be played with xd

I can't WAIT to see what the new donation items are! If they use the new poses, they'll probably be cooooool! sweatdrop

EDIT: eek OMG! I can wear multiple things on my head! *dies of joy* Hooray! Horns and ninja headbands! Ears and head bands! Ears and horns... The possibilities are endless! xd whee

It was so exciting last night! I got to go to a 36ers match (FINALLY! The tickets are expensive and I didn't get to go at ALL last season crying ) and not only that, but my mum got BOXSEATS through work! It was so exciting! For those that don't know, the Adelaide 36ers are South Australia's NBL (National Basketball League) team. The box seats are right up near the ceiling and we could look down on the court and the whole crowd!

They had guys that brought in snacks and food and everything! Drinks, and alcohol... SSOOO good! AANNNDDD at quarter-time Mark Davis (ex-36er superstar) came in and talk to us and I got a photo taken with him xd

ANNNNDDD instead of sitting on crappy hard, plastic chairs in the stands, we had SUPER cushy ones with arm rests... whee Even the member's seats in the stands aren't as comfy - it was great.

And then to top it all off -we THRASHED the New Zealand Breakers 104 to 78 xd Hooray! And Paul Rees shot a 3-pointer at the end! He's been with the Sixers for over 450 games and he has only hit 16 3's in his career (and I would suggest he hasn't shot more) - the crowd went spastic!

All in all - a very enjoyable evening xd

Doo dee doo... I don't really have much to say, I'm just going to try out this journal thingie. I'm actually online for once. My computer is sssoooo dodgy. I'm going to be uber-pissed if the guys at the shop don't fix it perfectly... All I want is to be able to go on the internet and my computer 24-7 - is that so much to ask? crying

Hmm. Well. Other than my bitching, I did do something sort of interesting yesterday. I have to do Media Literacies as a core subject for university, and normally it's on the brink of boringness talking about how media warps our fragile little minds (I knew that already! xd ). But yesterday we got to do fandoms! So exciting! The lecture was about all kinds of fandoms from Star Wars, to Buffy to Harry Potter - me and my sister was 'squeeing' almost every 2 seconds sweatdrop It was funny! And today in our tutorial we get to talk about fandom more, and it's going to be cool because our tutor is a super Harry Potter buff. She has this awesome Slytherin backpack which she bought on Ebay. Damn. I wish I had that backpack! And she has this enormous, life-sized, cardboard cut-outs of the characters from the first movie, except they fell off the truck when she was moving office, so now she only has a broken Harry and a Snape sad

Also, I got Tripod's new CD, Middleborough Rd, the other day and it's sooooo good! It's got heaps of Skithouse songs and a couple of extras biggrin I've been listening to it almost non-stop and I think I'm starting to piss off my sisters... sweatdrop

Hmm... what else? Oh yeah! I just discovered that my dad's PC User magazine actually came with something GOOD in it! It came with a free 30-day trial version of Ragnarok Online for Australia! I'm so damn excited! I've felt so left out with everyone playing but me! But, of course, when I went to install and play it, I got to the site and they are doing extended maintenance for today only! NNOOOO!!! Now I have to wait until 4.30 to play and it's only quarter-past 11 now! crying Oh well. How exciting! xd
