Oihane
“But the Growing Ceremony is tomorrow. It’s the most sacred day of the year. Our young ones need you.”

“It is the most sacred day. Perhaps that is why we’ve been drawn to the most sacred place.”

The two eldest pairs of eyes slowly looked through the Oihane tribe counsel. Though they’d prepared themselves so they appeared unruffled and calm, both felt as though most of the counsel were mirrors of their confused anxiety.

Those who weren’t expressed anger, “Is it the Yemi?”

“It is the change. The Yemi’s abilities lie in herbs and darkness. What power have they to prompt such change? We leave now for the Sacred Crystal. Guard the ceremony well.”

“And listen.” The eldest added onto his mate’s words, “If we must honor our ancestors best by being ready to hear and heed change, then let us honor them.”

“What is this change?”

Silence met this question. As the silence stretched, and both elders felt their uncertainty grow, they turned to leave before it could show.

“Go with blessings, if you must. But what of those who look to you tomorrow? What do we tell the young ones?”

“We trust you. What never changes is the strength we have in our tribal bonds.”

“Nor our duty to honor life. First our tribe, then others, and finally ourselves. Remind yourselves of that, and all the young ones. Our blessings.”

"Good Morning and Bright Days to the blessed gods...."

"Good Evening and Sacred Nights to the blessed lords..."

"Dearest, Blessed gods of the universe..."

"...may this lifetime be counted as a golden joy. May our families follow your truths, through nurture and care of every creature in the land...."

"...may this night and my deeds be counted as pleasing to you. Grant me success in tending the sacred plants...."

"...who control the winds and weather, and oversee the sky and land alike..."

"...Protect us from the evils of the Yemi...."

"...Spare the land from the feet of the Oihane...."

"....Grant us wisdom to understand...."

"May there ever be.... ...care and balance.... ...for all the realm."

"Thank you for the sun, the spring, and the summer and all the life they offer. Good day, my blessed gods."

"Thank you for the night, the fall, and the winter, and all the harvests of these times. Good night, I shall watch while you rest, my blessed lords."

"Thank you for the peace we've had. Help us through the times to come. I am concerned. What will we do?"

Only the Orim, flying high in the skies, had either the courage, comradery, or belief enough to express his concerns out loud. He circled over the land, and saw all the rituals and preparations of the creatures, as well as the plant life that flourished or failed in new and strange ways. He saw more clearly than they how the sun rose and set in subtly different ways, and how the wind sometimes carried on differently. The Orim, either by age or by wisdom, was also able to hear better than them the whispers of the gods. And the whispers also had changed.

The Oihane mates finished their morning ritual, their next breath turning to conversation about managing their family and tribe. Neither of them mentioned the feeling of things-feeling-different. It was the white elephant between them. But there was always so much to do. There were sentries to check their reports on, if any Yemi had been caught sneaking around. The Yemi, their bush-shaking, and their cruel tricks.... One Oihane shuddered and the other unconsciously mimicked it. Yes. There was work to be done.

The Yemi finished her evening words, and bowed his head a moment of self-reflection. She was stiff with concern, tense and reticent to admit such weak faults even to herself. So today the wind felt a little different. What nonsense to be worried over. She had a land to watch. The Oihane and their inane groups were over-taking the land, and their were precious plants to be gathered and saved. Perhaps there were herbs that could be set about and rituals performed that would....deter....the Oihane from their abnormal growth. There was a land to care for. Who needed to pay attention to the direction of the wind?

Name: Lerenel
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Rank: Wher-Candidate (Squire stage?)
Appearance:

Lerenel has a naturally tanned skin tone, thick brown-black hair that he keeps neat and trim. His nose is slightly too large, his lips slightly too small, to be quite handsome. He does have large, bright-brown eyes that are a redeeming feature to his face. He stands at a respectable 5'11". Like many of his Weyr-resident peers, he has a strong, muscular body, made fit by daily chores and the desire to be the best of his wher-candidate friends.

Also like many of his Weyr-bred friends, Lerenel has never had a great deal of marks to be able to afford clothes to offer him a sense of personal style. He is humble enough and naturally accustomed enough to the idea of hand-me-downs and making the best out of what one has that he's never even considered trying to step up his appearance to impress. What he has is clean and well-mended, still worn and patched. No one would mistake him for being more than what he is.

Personality:

History:

Lerenel is a son to rider G'lin and baker Neressa. She was practically a child herself at the time of Lerenel's birth, and G'lin had little to do with either pair, unless he was again taking advantage of Neressa's overly idealistic and romantic ideas. Lerenel grew up more in the creche than he did in his mother's house, and certainly only saw his father from afar.

And at first, it would seem that Lerenel was headed for a life just like all the other kids with overly romantic mothers who thought they could have a few children with a dragonrider to gain their forever-affections. Lerenel was a happy, healthy child, eager play and please, and falling very easily into being herded in a crowd. Herded he was, along with his younger siblings, in the creche. He grew and learned with his peers without incident, up until he was barely 6 turns of age, and the horrible dragon plague struck.

Suddenly, Lerenel had a present father. And the young child didn't question it, or his father's changeable moods. He gleefully embraced that, and proudly withstood all the tauntings and jeers caused by his pride and announcements of having a great-daddy who would never, ever get sick EVER. Perhaps having a little bit of his mother's stubborn romantic idealism in him, when people began to murmur about his father recovering and the man started to disappear again, Lerenel waited and watched, made a plan, and followed through with it. At 9 turns, Lerenel announced himself as Fabrenth's personal groomer, and stubbornly set about making sure that it was accepted NO MATTER WHAT. Again, Lerenel endured jeers, taunts, and whispers, and this time from the adults too.

But G'lin found it amusing. Though Lerenel knew through the conversations and tears that G'lin was in no way loyal to his mother, the man hung around for meals and amusement, and struck a deal that he'd reserve time every third off-day for the boy to complete his grooming responsibilities.

Name: G'lin
Age: 48
Gender: Male
Rank:
Appearance:
G’lin is a muscular, dark-skinned man who stands at 5'11." He has a shaved head, but sports a mustache and bushy eyebrows. Clearly seen by the wrinkles along the outer ages of his eyes, G'lin is often laughing. As a matter of fact, it might be the rare person who doesn't picture him with his oft attired wide grin.

G'lin's every day attitude about clothing is that its only importance is for the sake of modesty and utility. He doesn't actually lack a proper understanding of modesty, but mostly disregards it, and so in summer months can often be found running around in sandals, shorts, and a sort of messenger-type back to carry whatever usable things of interest he has for the moment. He wears the same few outfits until they are better suited for rags, and can honestly say that he's been gifted more clothes by people than he's actually bought. He does, however, actually understand appearances and clothing and the like. He can and will pull together a more decent outfit on a day he's not either elbow deep in training, or dragon care, or just bumming about his own business (the three together which DO take the greatest percentage of his days).

Personality:

Bullet Point of Seen Behaviors/Perceptions
"On Task/Working"
Thorough-worker, demanding work of himself that goes above and beyond any given task.
Task-master, once he is given to a job, he doesn't *stop*, puts his all into it, and expects the same from others.
While working, extremely focused, losing most of his forgetful/clumsy/stuttering issues seen in his more relaxed moments.

"Off Task/Casual"

Gregarious, tends to instigate conversations just to see how many people he can get involved in them.
Often seems "else where" in thought and action, leading to often becoming lost in conversations, with an apparently flighty or random mindset, and with apparent clumsiness and forgetfulness.
Tends to stutter in speech on occasion, especially if not emotionally connected or extremely familiar with a subject at hand.

"General"
Tends to have a Holder's mentality still about many things in life.
Future-oriented mindset, always looking forward.
Family-oriented mindset (most family NOT being at the Weyr, and so most affections outside of the Weyr.)

If G'lin has been convinced to accept a task, the man will not rest until the job is complete, placing his entire focus on it. He is the person to call on if you have a chore that needed doing yesterday, but needs to be completed as if someone has poured their best moments into it. If he's not familiar with it, he *will* find a skillful way to get it done, or delegate it properly and turn to moment-by-moment hounding of the poor soul signaled out as apparently trustworthy and skillful enough to do his given task in his stead. No matter the task: manual labor or research based or otherwise, G'lin will view the job only as the "seed" and "center" of his project, moving constantly outwards from that point until time, energy, or someone in command stops him.

Resting and actually focused on where he is in both space and time, G'lin is gregarious in nature. He can and will form close bonds with individuals, but seems more to enjoy seeing just how many people, present and passerbys, he can pull into one central conversation. However an instigator he might be, G'lin isn't actually that great in following a large-scale conversation. The man is easily lost in a crowd, or at least trying to tend to so much going on at once that he can't follow a single line.

That isn't too surprising, G'lin in general seems to be a bit scatter-brained and forgetful. His general focus is *so* forward focused, in his mind he's already prepared. He's already into 'tomorrow' or 'the next job' and sometimes he forgets his body and the time hasn't caught up. He'll catch himself often enough, leading to several trips to go back and get something important, or self-conscious checking of the mirror, or the stuttering of words and sentences, but just as often he does not catch himself and is off without some preparation done, rambling on some odd subject, or clumsily managing his own movements.

Most often, his focus is on being with his family. Family is truly first to him, and else is peripheral. Family concerns are the only way he might intentionally leave a job half-done. One might argue that he does this daily with his duties as a dragonrider. Yes, he'll hurry and do all the tasks he has to get done, but with the majority of his family outside of the Weyr, including his beloved wife, this means G'lin is always trying to find ways to do those daily necessary tasks either as swiftly as possible or even in the comforts of "his own home." Sure, he does his job, and he'll be hanged before that job isn't done WELL, but he's not interested in putting additional time into those day-to-day tasks that somehow lose their importance in the eyes of all men.

Lightning Tiger
Premade Approval
Name: Lysandra Jubilee Ende
Age: 16

Psyche: Lightning Tiger
Changes: Current changes here also, I'm assuming, and not where she may possibly go?There are bright, golden stripes all along Lysandra's body that seem to be in constant motion. Her eyes and hair have also changed, once a dark chestnut brown and brown eyes, they reflect the golden color of her lightning stripes. Her eyes remain darker than the rest, and her hair still has a hue of red to it.

Focus: Does a focus have to be one item/determined right away for a student? Lysandra is still in the process of experimenting with various conductors for her abilities, usually in the form of a staff or whip so that she can reach a greater length with her electric shocks.

Power(s):
Physical: Lysandra is extremely strong, with muscles built for the powerful predator that is a tiger. I will be using accounts of what a tiger can do and try to put it in proportion to Lysandra's abilities, beginning with her not fully understanding her own strength and moving upwards as she trains and comes to grips with her own skill.
She also possesses reflective cat-eyes that see well in the dark and a cat's rough tongue.

Electric currents Lysandra's stripes hold electricity in them, ever-flowing. On a day-to-day basis, they are annoyances, causing static electricity and the resulting shocks. When she becomes emotional, they will flair up and outwards, lightning in color to a bright yellow, are too hot too touch and may set flammable items on fire. With concentration, Lysandra can gain this same reaction and send an electric current through various conductors. In her current state, she is only able to send these electric currents through the air at the height of emotion with focused concentration (IE: fear + adrenaline with a definite attacker to defend against).

Name: Gabriella Anne Tusler
Age:/ 19
Explanation:
In discovering that Gabriella's anima is the wolf, one might feel everything clicks into its right place. As a wolf moves in a social pack, able to live in a more or less complex society, territorial but not as vicious as some would give the wolves to be so is Gabriella. Described as a social butterfly from her earliest year, the girl is a chatter-box and steady stream of information. She's always been happiest in a large crowd, and always been one to strive for order within the chaos of mixed personalities any one gathering might have.

It fits hand in hand with her ether psyche of sun. Loyal, steadfast, warm and attuned to supporting the life around her, Gabriella could never be called a loner. Like the sun, Gabriella might place herself in the center of activity, but she stands aloof and alone much of the time. She is quite happy in establishing order, organizing a gathering, but keeping a safe distance from those around her. Gabriella always reaches out, but never quite connects to most individuals. Many who do get closer to her might wish they hadn't, as they will find Gabriella to be so sure of herself, so very stubborn, and so highly critical and intense that she can scathe a firmer friendship before realizing what she's done.

Ink is a potential to be molded by the user, and for Gabriella that use is all too obvious. Communication! Flair! Whatever it is Gabriella is doing, she is talking while she is doing it, whether the receiver of her words happens to be the wall or some other audience. And she has to punctuate everything she does. It is as if all the energy she has is bottled up inside and just spills out as it's used. Nothing Gabriella ever does is ever quite clean, it's splattered about with self-interruptions, energetic gestures and the occasional foolish moment. Perhaps the ink would go unnoticed all together, for the string of chatter could easily be the other two mixed, the great energy hand in hand with the great passion from the sun, though certainly both are less flighty than the ink lends. Ink's greatest contribution is in memory. Gabriella doesn't have a super-extraordinary memory, and it is far from photographic, but she does tend to hold and hold and hold to things. She is nostalgic to a fault, loyal to a fault, grudge-holding to a fault, and it is the fault of the ink. Some might think it very special to have a double-ether. For Gabriella, it only serves to intensify an already intense persona.

Powers:
Etch A Sketch -- Using what Gabriella calls 'flaming ink,' she is able to mentally write or draw messages in the air or "on" a surface. The ink itself has no affect on any surface, other than to warm it up (it could possibly melt some ice). At this time, Gabriella has to be in sight of where she is trying to create her words or images, unless she "howls" words (not images), at which point they are written over and over again like echoes, starting large and becoming small in every location within the sound of her voice. When Gabriella does not 'howl, the words or images appear where she wants for a short time before burning away. They do not necessarily appear as she imagines them, but as if she had hand created them, though Gabriella does not need to move or even speak the unhowled version of her words and sketches. It is conceivable, as long as Gabriella shouts, that she write over an area so long as to destroy visibility until the echoes stop. Unfortunately, as it would affect the entire range of her voice, it's not necessarily a useful or wise thing for her to try.

Solar Powered Ink Generator aka Spig or spigging! -- There is always a source of solar powered energy bubbling up inside of Gabriella. On command, it can either be released through her sketches or through flicking or spilling 'blobs' of sun-ink from her fingers and palms of her hands. She can also cry, spit, or swear out these blobs, though this is usually a result of not using her stored energy for too long a time and 'spilling over' as opposed choice. If left for a very long duration, her hands will also 'spill' over. (From "empty" in a fight, Gabriella can go 12 hours without a necessary release, but on "full," Gabriella generally releases a small amount through sketching every hour. Yes, sleeping is difficult.)

But when Gabriella does consciously control her spigging, she is able to control the colors of these flaming blobs, as well as the temperature as long as she wants to go from the "hot" (98 Fahrenheit, body temperature) to hotter (212 Fahrenheit, boiling point). She also has control as to the velocity at which they come, and currently a very minimal amount of control as to how they splatter. This latter control is one she may be able to develop as she becomes more experienced.

Personality: I actually have 1300 + words on this. Other than that being burdensome to read, I've also already addressed personality in the 'explanation'. I see her ether/anima as her "core" and everything working out from there. I have the personality saved else where, if you want it, but here is the super-summarized version.

Characteristics with short explanation:
* Busy {Sun, ever burning} - Gabriella is always taking the initiative to busy herself with one task or another, whether others want her help or not.
* Caring {Wolf, Sun, Ink - Wolf's Packs/Emotions, Galaxy-Creation abilities of sun, giving of sun of Sun and Ink} - Gabriella's first reaction to anything is "How can I help?" She can sometimes be wise, tactful, and (less so) noninvasive, but can also become bossy, demanding, and can favor hard lessons over gentle guidance.
* Social {Wolf/Ink, Pack/Communication} - Gabriella is happiest when the world around her is busy and all in one place, where she can watch over, participate in, and affect everything at once.
* Zealous {Sun/Ink, Ever-burning/Emphasizing Strokes} - Refers to action more than emotion, but is more of putting purpose into her movements as opposed to aimlessly busy. -- If it's something she deems important, Gabriella doesn't believe in doing it half-way, or with half-effort.
* Passionate {Wolf/Sun/Ink - Wolf's emotion, Sun/ink's giving of self} - This refers more to emotion than action. -- Not necessarily referring to wearing her emotions on her sleeve, though Gabriella certainly can, but referring more to the heart she will put into something she truly cares for.
* Private {Sun/Wolf - Far away/Territorial) -- Despite being outwardly social, Gabriella is very self-protective and has an inner wall that is difficult to get past.

History:

Gabriella was born on October 27, 2011 into a farming family in the north-central region of Florida. Her daily life was filled with everything that could be expected from any normal childhood in her community: the necessities of school, combined with a choice afterschool activity or two, followed by necessary chores, homework and life lessons on most weekdays combined with relaxing weekends which included hunting, fishing and all the fine childhood joy that could be experienced. Her life was filled with hard work and responsibility, the education of school and wisdom of family, and a great amount fun.

True to her nature, Gabriella always had a passel of friends, she was one that would buzz around any classroom in the school or any group in the schoolyard and spend small tidbits of time. She was sometimes the girl who chased the boys, sometimes the girl who was a spy for the boys, sometimes one sitting at the benches with those who didn't *like* to play, and sometimes the class angel but sometimes threw her hand in with the clowns. Her true consistency was in that she would always try to pull individuals into groups, and quite enjoyed the challenge of making opposing friendships work. It was a tendency and life that got her into plenty of spats, but as she was uprooted from this early life at only 9 years old, she hadn't the opportunity to truly make enemies yet.

All of that was before the fear of this...strange unknown...the worse trouble she ever fell into was the wrath of elementary teachers who tired of trying to redirecting all of her energy away from social chatter and into classwork. The Silencing began to appear when she was 8 years old. For the most part, it was an odd concept the young girl couldn't wrap her mind around. She knew there was much fear, and shared in it mostly because the stable adults in her life were so frightened, but didn't truly understand the scope of the problem.

She finally got a whiff of it when her parents grasped onto straws of rumor. Unable to attain flight tickets for the entire family to one place or the other, Gabriella's family was split between this and that ticket. In April of 2021, Gabriella and a brother were shuttled off to their great aunt and uncle's home in Viewpoint, California. Two of her older siblings were sent to relatives who were to make it to a different rumored safe haven. Her parents were meant to split and join them as soon as they were able. Apparently that opportunity never came. It took them the better part of a year, but Gabriella and Anthony came to realize that Great Uncle Jason and Aunt Laura were their new family.

At 67 and 64, Uncle Dennis and Aunt Laura weren't so very old that they were unable to care for their niece and nephew. They weren't overly wealthy, even the wealthy wasn't overly wealthy any longer, and had to make do with their two-bedroom home, but it was a house with a good sized yard. Most importantly, it was a home. For the remainder of Gabriella's childhood, it was comfortable. She made new friends, established herself into the new community. She and her brother spent much of their free time both teaching others to care for crops in small home gardens and tending their own. For the sake of nostalgia and desire for meat, as teenagers Gabriella and Anthony would abandon the safety net of the city to go out in a hunting group as often as both hunting parties and their guardians would permit.

Gabriella awakened at 17 years old, uneventfully in her garden. Gabriella was too shocked to react initially, and before she could start to think of panicking, her calm, wizened uncle was assuring her that all was well. It was happening to others, they knew, and it was a very good thing indeed, for it would be the help and hope of the future. All the excitement didn't come until the next day, when they began to understand the 'overflowing' part of Gabriella's abilities. Great drama ensued, mainly from Gabriella herself, about how she was going to have to lock herself away so she could spontaneously explode without hurting anyone. Anthony eventually talked her down by telling her to pretend like she was out paint balling or mud slinging and to take out that tree that was a dead threat anyway, and from there the family together started to explore and understand her abilities to a small extent.

Accepting Dinah's request to the school was a no-brainer. She still had the small, if unvoiced, fear that one day she might explode and hurt someone. With specific training and a specific outlet, that wasn't so likely to happen. Besides, hadn't Uncle Dennis said immediately that her awakening meant that she was destined for making the sure there actually was a future? No? Well, that's how Gabriella had interpreted it, and that was what she was and is determined to do.

Prompt Answer: 2
The choice between mentoring and.... What was the other option? To Gabriella, there wasn't any. Spend her life on the field? Why?

Along with the rest of the known world, Gabriella was well acquainted with the idea of death. In her mind, there were several forms of that. There was the type where one was simply engulfed by everything that was bigger, and so just gave up to all the bigness. That created a stir, but it was short-lived. Who really knew anything about those individuals that went like that? There was the type where someone went from lively, interesting and actively living, but finally faded away to nothing. In the end, what meaning really was there for that sort? Sure, there was influence, but... Then there was influence... The sort of death where one's life just kept expanding outwards, further and on where multitudes of individuals were affected. Life's end was certain, but Gabriella wanted that latter for herself. What was the point of living, and what was the point of being gifted with truly knowing who you were if you didn't do something with it?

It wasn't a simply cliché, it was truth. An individual kept living on within those that knew them, and if that individual was bright enough, strong enough, then that person was passed on to the next. There were relics even now that Gabriella remembered, from history classes. Like George Washington, who also faced the inevitable crush of defeat, but miraculously won, along with all those other founding fathers of America, and here centuries later Gabriella knew who he was, and his life affected hers. Now they were in a different sort of Revolution, and one that they should lose, but they couldn't. Not just him, but her parents too. Although that was smaller, and no one knew their names, it was just as important. Sure, memories faded, seemed to change, seemed to disappear all together---and then suddenly, but surely something would come around again, crystal clear and with a message meant for that moment. So, people gone were present, and they still left a blazing trail of their influence. Was that just because of her, growing up, gaining understanding, or was it because somehow, in some way, those individuals actually really did still live, with some form of conscience and ability to affect those who'd known them? Anyway, the chance to continue only happened when someone did something worthwhile to continue.

And if people and things kept expanding outwards as they died, if they died with any power behind them at all, that meant the bad and the good. That meant that this great abyss they were fighting also had that ability. That meant any one person she might know could have that ability, and who knew if they would do the job right or not?

Gabriella didn't believe in any form of consistency, but she believed in the consistency and ability of herself. She trusted herself to do the right thing, to be the right mentor and influence, and to make sure the class coming would get the information they needed to become the individuals they needed to be. She was a good person, and wholly capable of instilling the right lessons.

It was a blind decision, based on her youthful ignorance, unrecognized arrogance, and denied fears of being nothing and going dying quietly, as simply one of those tragic firsts and nothing more. Considerations for the next class? To make sure that the teacher was a good teacher to give them the right information. To make sure that they would work together as a class. To... be a class that would graduate and she could send on and let be... She didn't have real considerations for an actual class, but the decision was purely self-centered. She could continuously give of herself, and be a part of something bigger and important, but she would never have to actually bond with any one individual or group, because she knew they would soon be graduating and she would never be out with them consistently. She never had to make connections that would get broken, or become too close to her. She didn't have to go out on the field herself, where it was more lonely and frightening than she would ever admit.

She'd build up new groups, yes. That as the perfect choice, and avoid having to think she'd have years and years to spend grouping and regrouping on the field with people she'd have to work with closely, just to risk losing them and possibly anyone with whom she could share all the living memories.

Personality, Long Version
Note: I see her esper/anima as her "core", and all of these traits pretty much flowing out of it. Some of the "core" ideas will always remain the same, but how they show will vary as she matures and show differently through experiences. And this was blasted hard to write. I only ever write "core" personalities, I hope I'm not face-planted on the ground writing this! ^_^

A Secondary Note: These traits are based off of her core personality, in writing I also kept the idea of her upbringing in mind. Some of this was alluded to in her history, there is more, but I decided to be short (*cough*) and spare those explanations.

Busy {Sun, ever burning} --
On the positive side, Gabriella is always getting something accomplished. Whether she is bustling about cleaning something, caring for someone, running an errand, catching the latest gossip, weaving the latest real life drama, or... uh, well, when she keeps herself in check, Gabriella is a useful-busy sort. She can become a busy-body, which is perhaps not nearly as useful nor pleasant as she would wish for herself and others to be.
Busy + Caring Motherly, Bossy - Tendency to being a caretaker, sometimes sweetly, tactfully, but sometimes unwanted and too disruptive, especially when 'zealous' aspects start to overrule.
Busy + Social Social Butterfly, Event-Manager, Babbler, Gossip = Tendency to have her hands in as many social pies as possible. For better or worse.
Busy + Zealous Perfectionist = Tendency to try to get it all done as soon as possible, as perfect as possible.
Busy + Passionate Distracted = Her answer to all worries or concerns, all movement, is to get up and get busy working on something. The more upset Gabriella is, the more 'doing' will be happening.
Busy + Private Good Acquaintance, Bad Confidante = Excellent for all the empty chatter and making all those acquaintances, sometimes makes her less than faithful if 'private' wins over 'zealous' because 'caring/social' has pulled her too close to something.

Caring {Wolf, Sun, Ink -- packs, galaxy-creator, giving of self} --
On the positive side, Gabriella most certainly has a streak where she sort of adopts which ever individuals happen to be at her immediate side and does what she can to make sure their needs are met. That is all fine and well as long as she is anticipating the right needs, and is being wise, tactful, and nonevasive about it. Leaning toward the negative, Gabriella can become bossy, demanding and favor hard lessons over gentle guidance.
Caring + Social Social Butterfly, Motherly = Possibly Gabriella's dominate characteristics and combination, these are often personality aspects she falls back on to make most of her decisions, for better or worse.
Caring + Zealous Motherly/Overbearing, Vengeful Enemy, Grudging = Cross her friends. Do it. Gabriella will retaliate. Friends under her care cross her. Dare ya, but if zealous is winning over caring, you've got a lecture coming!
Caring + Passionate Loyal Friend, Long-term Enemy, Obsessive = An overload of emotion, and a rare combination where the ink ether is strongest, whatever makes Gabriella feel so intensely will not be shortlisted out of her mind. This is what either earns unfailing loyalty or deep, angry grudges. If she is not careful, she will pour all her energy into her emotions here as she plans whatever retaliation (for good or bad!) onto a person or event that has caused this to bubble up.
Caring + Private Self-care, overburdened = At best, this fits with busy and Gabriella is taking care of home and self. At worse, this is blitzing with Social or Zealous and Gabriella is worrying over whether or not she is doing enough to be worthwhile in any way.

Social {Wolf + Ink, pack + communication} --
As she is busy, and as she likes to see both the things and people around her well cared for, Gabriella is happiest when the world around her is busy and all one in place, where she can watch over, participate in, and affect everything at once.
Social + Zealous Social Butterfly, Stubborn, Perfectionist = This is going to be best event ever! And she's going to save the whole world, and train up a whole new generation, and thousand other things all before the end of the year! Impossible aspirations, and the will to do it, and undoubtedly falling short of her own expectations.
Social + Passionate Perfectionist, Emotional = This is when Gabriella is pouring her heart into whatever is meant to be the best event, and her emotions will swing on whether or not she believes it is going well. Gabriella is perhaps not the most pleasant person to be around when this dominates, as she is Stress City and lacking the fun that a Social/Zealous combination holds.
Social + Private Self-protective = Gabriella might have hundreds of acquaintances, she may be taking some of these under her wings and caring for them. But she is not sharing her deepest fears, secrets, history or even many of her current serious thoughts with them. Stay at an arm's length away, please. If you don't, you might be surprised to find that 'private' almost always wins over 'caring' once one gets too close. Friend evasive moves will begin!

Zealous -- {Sun + Ink, ever-burning + bold strokes. Different from "passionate" as it refers more to action than emotion. Different from "busy" as this refers more to putting her all into something, with purpose, not necessarily in motion while busy is more aimlessly bustling about.}
Gabriella doesn't believe in doing anything half-way. If it's worth doing, it's worth doing correctly and right away! Well begun is half done, and best to only have to do it once.
Zealous + Passionate Core Values= This occurs more in a long-term setting and is surprisingly docile in comparison to what it sounds like. She is, for example, passionate about her parents and cousins who live in the city, because they are family that have always been consistent in her life. They are, after all, what she's based all of her life decisions on up to this point, and are likely what she will continue to base many of her decisions on for a very long time.
Zealous + Private Internal Strife= In moments of contemplation, Gabriella is either revving herself up for the next big project or tearing herself down for not meeting her own standards. This combination may very well get in the way of her 'dominate' personality aspects of caring and social, even locking her into immobility at her very worst moments.

Passionate -- {Wolf, Sun, Ink -- Wolf's emotion, sun/ink's giving of self, Refers more to emotion than action}
Gabriella is an emotionally charged individually. Easily excited, easily ready to jump into something. Easily joyful, easily angered or saddened. She views herself as feminine, soft-spoken individual as her parents have tried very hard to mold her into this, and so tries to keep her negative emotions tucked away and off her sleeve, but often the positive, acceptably feminine characteristics are out for all to see.
Passionate + Private Self-protective = A surprisingly dominate "territorial" aspect to Gabriella. To an extent, Gabriella does wear her emotions on her sleeves, but she has a wall about her most internal being which does not easily let others in. The ink on the bottom of a bottle or at the end of a pen is always difficult to scrape out and especially to use, isn't it?

Private -- {Sun + Wolf, far away, territorial}
Despite a social core, Gabriella is a private individual. It's a characteristic that does well enough for her in all the initial stages of getting to know others, but has her backing of and moving on to the next thing that comes her way instead of remaining to actually develop any of the friendships she has gained.

Other things to note: Sun's suggested dominance is in direct contrast to the support position that ink generally takes. The sun cannot be molded or moved, it will give whatever it has no matter what comes along, and it will go until it burns itself out. Ink is, in its raw form, made to be molded, moved, and used as an individual likes. It sometimes crusts and doesn't always give, needing that extra care, but will eventually be obedient until it gives out also. As a wolf, societal position is important to Gabriella. Without making these personality traits, I will be keeping this in mind as Gabriella grows from a older teenager/young adult to an individual completely her own. Thus, whether the 'dominate' of sun or the 'subordinate' of ink wins out will be entirely based on RP. To start, she obviously leans more to ink.
