well. lots of things to say now.
Poppa will be back in the hospital on Thursday for surgery. there is a 3% chance of stroke.. which isn't bad, but he's getting so much older.. and I'm pretty nervous about it. luckily, it's an outpatient-type surgery.. so he'll be home the same day if there are no complications. please keep him in your thoughts.
I finally started school again tonight. it was fun, I guess. it was a three hour orientation for an online class. and as much as I love posting on forums, I don't want to sit in front of the computer trying to concentrate on what to write under pressure. and it's going to be tough with all the attention Kurt's been vying for. lol.
speaking of.. Kurt is 2 1/2 years now. and he's more than half my height. that's saying he's got his daddy's height, or I'm just as short as hell. it might be both.
and last, but certainly not least, my guild has been up and running for a good couple weeks. and as much as I'm loving being a captain of a guild, it's starting to disappoint me, to say the least. we have so many members, but hardly any post regularly, and only in one forum. it's just.. I don't want all those hard hours burning the midnight oil to go to waste. I've more than once wanted to throw in the towel just this week alone. I don't know. that would be foolish after all I've done, I guess.. but I can't help to think that we're going nowhere without real active members.. :[
