Story name: Unknown Chapter two: Temptation OoC: In the previous story. The line: Hopefully no one would sit him. I had meant to say, “Hopefully no one would sit ‘by’ him.” Sorry for the slight inconvenience. Also, here are the pictures of Aubrey and Kinoru. A snowy haired male slowly approached the table at which the male vampire sat at. A tray within his hand, he settled down before him. Redish hues slipped to Aubrey as he gave him a small smile. “I hope you don’t mind me sitting here,” he said, bowing his head for only a moment before he placed his tray in front of him. “If you want, you can have whatever you want from my tray…” he offered, a small laugh slipping from his lips. “I barely eat, so I’m never that hung-” Aubrey raised a hand to silence the male, a sigh drifting from his lips as black orbs scanned over his form, then to he tray. “No thank you. I don’t like the food at schools,” he stated simply, giving the male a smile before dropping his hand back to the table. “I thank you for sitting with me. I was rather afraid that I would have to sit alone…” he thanked. The male blushed, his gaze turning to his food as he took a fork up, eating slowly as he tried to hide the blush. Aubrey merely chuckled beneath his breath. “You don’t hang out around that many others, do you?” he asked, though the answer was very obvious. The male before Aubrey was one of the shy ones, one that barely made many friend for fear of rejection. He knew the feeling well, and resented it, just as he resented his ‘sister’ Fate. Kinoru glanced up at him, shaking his slowly as he sighed and dropped his fork upon the tray, deciding not to eat more than he already had. Aubrey grinned. “No, so far I’ve only made one friend… And he’s away for a month in Japan,” he stated. At this, Aubrey lent back, signaling the male the continue on. “I only approached you because you’re new, and… I thought you wouldn’t mind…” he mumbled, gaze down upon his tray. “In other words… You wanted to befriend me?” Aubrey asked, head tilting to the side just slightly as blackened orbs remained upon the snowy-haired male. The younger male gave a small nod, looking almost embarrassed. “Well… You could have just asked me,” he stated, standing slowly to his feet, taking the male’s tray and walking to the front, dumping it into one of the trashcans before placing the tray upon the small stack already starting to build up. He returned to the table, the younger male staring at him with widened reddish orbs. Aubrey held a hand out to the male, a crooked grin placed upon his lips. “Well, what are you waiting for?” he asked, amusement sparkling in his eyes. Kinoru took the male’s hand and stood to his feet, still a little confused on what he wanted. He’d made a friend just like ‘that’, and he hadn’t even had to ask… “Where are you taking me?” he asked, blinking several times. Aubrey chuckled, leading him out of the cafeteria and into the hallway, which was void of anyone there. Glancing around just to make sure, he grinned, pinning the male to one of the walls, a few hallways away from the café. Kinoru’s eyes widened considerably as he stared at the black-haired male, swallowing. Aubrey sighed, shaking his head. “Shush,” he ordered, leaning forward and nipping lightly at the male’s neck. Kinoru’s eyes slid closed slowly as he pressed back more against the wall, biting down at his lower lip as Aubrey had started to lick and suck at the flesh of his neck tenderly, feeling his heart-rate increase slowly. “S-Stop…” he mumbled quietly, hands pressing to Aubrey’s chest as he attempted to push him away, though the stronger male wouldn’t even budge an inch. It was as if he was made of stone; permanently in place… Aubrey grinned at the male’s attempt to push him away, blinking slowly as he did, indeed, come away from his neck for a mere moment, black orbs resting upon the flushed cheeks of the younger male. “Do you truly want me to stop?” he asked, lips lingering only inches away from the younger males. Kinoru whimpered softly, unable to answer the male. “You enjoy it…don’t you…?” Aubrey whispered into the male’s ear, nipping lightly at the edge of the tender flesh before trailing his mouth back down to Kinoru’s neck, continuing his previous actions. Kinoru opened his eyes halfway, gazing at the male, stopping to try and push him away, feeling foolish for being entranced by the darker male. “Why…?” he whispered, tears starting to form within his eyes. Aubrey took a while to respond, and in this time, Kinoru remained where he was, not allowing any sounds to part from his lips, though it felt good… Aubrey had finally pulled away, blinking as he gazed at the male. “Why?” he repeated, grinning crookedly. “Why not?” he whispered, sighing. “My name is Aubrey,” he stated, knowing they hadn’t given their names yet. Taking a step away from the male, his fingers brushing against the small mark he’d left upon Kinoru’s neck to make it fade to the point only Aubrey would be able to know that it was there. “Forgive me for… intruding upon your person space. I simply couldn’t resist. You’re so cute…” he whispered, smirking at the male before sighing, his hands sliding within his pockets. “K-Kinoru…” the young male mumbled, still slightly shaken from the experience. He stepped away from the wall, making sure to keep enough distance between him and the other male. Cheeks still remaining flushed, he rubbed his neck lightly where Aubrey’s lips and fingers had been. It tingled, though nothing more. Returning reddish orb to Aubrey, he frowned. “You did that out of temptation?” he asked, slightly annoying… He had never been called cute before, thought at the moment he was too annoyed to care. The male had only toyed with him for his own amusement… He’d been used again, and he felt saddened. Here. He had thought that someone actually liked him, though deep down he knew he had only been used for ones personal enjoyment. Aubrey frowned at the male’s words, shaking his slowly. “You’re thinking too lowly,” he stated calming. “I am sorry for…doing that to you. As I had said, I couldn’t resist. Yes, I did it out of temptation, but only because I like you. For one, you’re cute…sweet, adorable, and you tell the truth… And for two, I’d thought you’d enjoy it as well…” Aubrey only spoke the truth, and it was evident within his blackened orbs. “Will you forgive me?” Kinoru glared bitterly at the male before shoving past him, heading off towards his next close. “No,” he muttered, hands clenching beside his sides as he entered his class, the door slamming shut behind him. Aubrey released a small sigh, gazing after him with an ‘oh-so-satisfied’ grin. ~It appears as if you and I have the same class together next… What a convenience…~ he thought, heading off towards the same room, entering, and gracefully taking a seat beside the angered male. Kinoru glanced to him, then away quickly, trying to calm down. “I didn’t play you,” the vampire whispered. Kinoru scoffed, looking to the wall, hands within his lap. “Then what was that in the hallway?” he asked. “You’ve done it before, just like everyone else…” he muttered, frowning. Aubrey sighed, reaching over, icy fingers brushing against the male’s shoulder. “I only did it because I couldn’t resist. I’m new here… You’re the first I’ve approached.” His words seemed to have grabbed the agitated male’s attention because he’d calmed, and turned to face the dark-haired vampire. Aubrey smiled simply at him, giving a small shrug. Kinoru sighed. “You idiot…” he muttered, glancing away. “I know you’re new here. I said so when I’d first approached you that you were new…” he muttered, red orbs shifting to the white-board. “Why did you even…do that to me? I only wanted a friend, I said nothing about wanting to be pinned to a wall and ravished by some… some horny teen.” It was Aubrey’s turn to glare now. “For one, I am not horny… And for two, I wasn’t ravishing you…” he growled. The other male snickered, gaze returning to Aubrey, signaling for him to continue one. Aubrey’s eyes narrowed as he gazed at Kinoru. “It’s natural for me to act that way, mainly because I’ve never been with someone for long. We always move around, and I might not even be here for that long… I chose you, since you were the only person that actually appealed to me…” Kinoru giggled, leaning back slightly within his seat. “Oh really?” he asked, his gaze flickering to the plastic table before him. “I suppose I can let it slide… Just… one thing?” “Hmm?” “Warn me before you do something like that again… So I can actually brace myself and not be caught off guard…” Aubrey blinked, then smiled, putting a hand out upon the desk, which the younger male grabbed. “Sure thing, Kinoru…” he said, chuckling softly as he squeezed the male’s hand lightly, shifting them so they were holding hands beneath the table, just as the teacher had entered the room and class had started. © Reoku_kun ™

Story name: Unknown Chapter one: The Begining.
The brilliant glow of the full moon shone down on the city of Mayhem; a city where both vampire's and humans live together, though not always in peace. There were always times that a vampire would kill a human just for the blood, or for the excitement of the kill. Vampires here were ruthless, they knew no boundaries and would stop for nothing until they were content. Though there were some who had more control, and wished to do nothing but 'enjoy' their immortal life in peace. On the outskirts of Mayhem, the small, human city of Harlem resided. The humans there were blissfully unaware of the danger that they could possibly have been in. They cared not for the threats that Mayhem posed for them, though, they might have if they knew of its existence. Mayhem was a hidden city, and only those who knew where it was, or even of its existence could enter. Anyone else would have seen the city as nothing more then a forested plot. Though once those few humans who dared to pass that point entered, there was no return. Only the vampires could enter and exit at their own will; humans had to have help.
Aubrey sighed heavily as he gazed upon the nearly empty streets of Mayhem, leaning against one of the brick walls that, if followed, let to one of the many entrances to Harlem. Though, tonight, he and his friend would be leaving to reside in Harlem. He looked to be around the age of an 18 year old. Pale flesh, well toned features, tousled, pitch black hair. On his right wrist was a serpent tattoo, and on his left shoulder he carried a scar that ran all the way down his forearm. Though he had the ability to hide it, he chose not to. It was a reminder of what he had done to cause one vampire enough emotional damage and stress. Black orbs darted to the side, the sound of footsteps touching his ears. "I thought you'd appear out of thin air... I didn't know you would walk here," he mumbled. Aileen was not amused, her graceful features contorted to one of simple anger. "Sorry, I had to deal with one of your other little friends. Fate is really getting annoying," she whined, fists clenched at her sides. Aubrey chuckled darkly, a grim smirk crossing his lips. "Really now...? I was beginning to think that she was rather sweet.. Even though she is my sister, she‘s still a bloody b***h…." Bitter resentment was clear in his voice, though his eyes showed no emotion what so ever. "We better leave soon, before someone else tries to stop us... Or, rather, you..." Aubrey turned then, his back to the female. His footsteps carried him swiftly from the area and into the boundaries of Harlem. They had chosen to come here, for at least one year. It was better this way, so that they could keep in touch with their human sides. They hadn't always been vampires....none of them had, to be exact. The creatures of the night were created by each other, a fairy tale that humans had created themselves… Or, at times, a nightmare. Aileen sighed, following after Aubrey quietly. "We don't have to do this..." she said, her English accent showing clearly in her voice. "I mean, sure, we'll be able to get free blood from the people who donate there, but come on. Living with humans for an entire year? It's-" "Perfectly fine with me. If you want to leave, then you may. But I prefer to do this. Though it would be rather boring since I've lived through almost everything..." he mumbled, black orbs closing for a moment as he inhaled deeply. "Living with humans isn't so bad, Aileen. It's actually quite nice..." Aileen rolled her eyes, slipping her hands into the pockets of her leather pants. "Whatever," she responded, her eyes narrowing. "I still don't think it's a good idea though. Humans are something we feast on. They're weak. 'The weak perish, the strong survive'." Aubrey sighed in agitation, not willing to continue this conversation further. It was bad enough that he had agreed on letting her come. "Listen... if you're going to complain, then leave. Go home," he told her, stopping as he looked over his shoulder at her. His words had been cold, and his eyes were hinting as his anger. Aileen had gotten the point from the looks of it. He smirked. "Good girl," he cooed softly, turning his gaze in front of him once more as he continued on. Soon, they had reached the exit, an old fashioned clay flower pot, in which a rose bush grew, marking it. The roses though, were not the type you would find in your every-day flower shop. They were black, and the rarest among all roses. In past years, a black rose would resemble that of a demonic aura nearby, though now that the religion had toned down more, black roses were cherished for their rarity . It would appear that the roses were only a dark red, though if looked at closely, they were black, almost as black as a sky without stars.. Aileen glimpsed at one of them for a moment, her memories flickering back to the time that she had accepted a black rose, and…accidentally pricked her finger when she was human. Later on that night, she'd been turned. A vampire tradition, she'd learned. "Why is it a tradition...? To give a victim a rose before they're turned...?" she asked, her gaze turning back to Aubrey as curiosity danced within her black orbs.. "Humans are simple. They accept the gift...draw blood on it from one of the thorns...and later on, are bitten. We chose to give them something that they will not put down, something rare..." He sighed. "It was something started a long time ago..." A long time ago indeed, almost back to the 1600's. Aileen nodded, a low sigh escaping her lips. "We should...be there soon. Unless you want to just get there in a second." She grinned faintly, though it faded as she saw the other male shake his head. She knew he hated that idea, especially when they were in human territory. "Fine. We'll walk then," she mumbled, arms crossing over her chest slowly. Aubrey nodded, raising a hand to brush his bangs from his face. "It's only a block away. Walking wont kill you..." he teased lightly, yawning as he headed towards one of the larger houses in the town. Once there, the two entered, gazing around the interior for a moment. The colors were black, mainly, though there were some shades of white and gray mixed in, like a checkerboard. “Nice place for a rave, don’t you think?” he asked, snickering softly under his breath as his friend nodded. “Yea, the ‘humans’ would sure enjoying tearing this place up…” she muttered, her gaze flickering elsewhere. The house was grand, and it was the best in town… If the kids in the area found out the ‘new kids’ lived in it, they would be swarmed with people asking if they could come over… “Let’s keep a low profile this year,” she said. “Don’t we always..?” A stairway led to the second and third story, and the furniture was polished black wood, with fine details. The kitchen was nothing more then a prop, though it would have to be filled when the time came. There would be humans here, since this was a school year, and they needed to be prepared. It would be hard to hide what they were if they didn’t have the right things, and living alone while...faking such ages would be something that not many vampires would chance. Though they both had the ability to tamper the minds of others and that would be something that would defiantly come in handy....
~*~
The next morning, Aileen and Aubrey readied themselves for the first day of school. Aileen had chosen to wear a pair of her black jeans with small, decorative chains hanging from the belt-loops. A black lace choker clung to the flesh of her neck, a red jewel visible on the front. Her wrists had a few black bangles, and around her ankle, uncovered by her short jeans, was a black rose tattoo. Aubrey had chosen to wore a black shirt that clung tightly to his skin, allowing the muscles beneath to be outlined. He wore black jeans as well, a belt adorned with silver studs wrapped around the belt-loops, though he had no need for it; it was only for show. A collar with small silver spikes wrapped around his neck, his short black hair was also spiked.
The two parted, going on their separate ways. Aileen had chosen not to attend school that day, thinking it might be better to get used to the surroundings instead. Aubrey sighed heavily as he shook his head, slinging his backpack over one shoulder and walking out the front door. The school was only a couple blocks away, in perfect walking range. At least he'd be able to get a little exercise every day, since he'd been able to 'skip' gym this year. Showing off his physical talents to the world would not of been a good thing. Black orbs shifted around, noticing that a few other kids had chosen to walk as well. He smirked slightly, his left hand slipping into his pocket while the right hand kept a firm grip on the backpack. His books were merely for show, and there was little chance he would actually use them, unless he was bored and wanted to write poetry or draw. Odd habits, but something he'd grown used to over the years. Once on campus, he walked into the building, heading to his homeroom. He dropped his book bag by the side of the room and headed for an empty desk, sitting down. The day went by rather quickly, until lunch time came. He headed to one of the tables, seeing as he had been one of the first ones there, and sat down. Hopefully, no one would sit him, though he got the impression that someone would...
