In our search for freedom we have hurt
And we have sinned
My young and clumsy friends
Whom I should love
We're still unable to live life well
What on earth have I been fighting and for how long?
In this place, Where even breathing is constrained
We've learned to laugh
Even though there's nothing fun about it
We're free to go anywhere we want
We're free to do anything we want
Surely the fight for freedom will continue
