You know what's really bugging me? Those 12 days of Christmas items. The items themselves aren't bugging me, but I hate it when they send me a PM about it. I get on, and surprise! A Christmas present! Yay! It makes me happy inside. Then I click on another page, and at the top it says "1 new message." I start getting all excited for the 3 minutes it takes to load the next page, and then I find out that they're just PMing me to tell me I got an item. I know I got an item. I saw the picture. Leave me alone. I actually like Christmas time on Gaia. It'd be super cool if Jack showed up again this year.
Chriiissssttmasss is almost here! A week away! I don't have to work the whole week surrounding it, either. (Thank god. Godfather's is closed on Christmas and Thanksgiving.) Christmas is going to be fun. My brother is going to love his present. I felt like really doting this year. Of course, I can't say what I got him, because there is the slimmest of chances that he will read this. But it's SOGOOD. I'm going to Chicago the day after Christmas. It's going to be my first time on a plane, and I'll be flying alone. Scaaary.
Anyway. My avatar is cosplaying Mello from Death Note. Because that is who I am going to cosplay. (I'm pretty sure, anyway.) The jacket isn't exactly what Mello wears, but it's the closest I could find within my Gaia budget. And the hair has extreme layering problems... (and I just couldn't bring myself to get rid of the vampire skin just yet.) I love Anime Iowa. I live for it. You think I'm kidding, but I really am that much of a nerd.
If you couldn't tell by now, I'm bored! I suggest that, if you haven't stopped reading by now, you should stop. Because it's ooonnnly going to get stupider from here on out.
There is something creepy going on. The forces of nature are working around me. Every time I go to a bookstore, I look at the manga section. Like any normal person. But I have a curse (or a gift). When I'm through looking at the manga I read regularly, or the one's that I've heard about, I'll sometimes pick up a random one afterwards to see if I want to start a new series. And every time... every time, the first one will be about a transvestite/cross-dresser/hermaphrodite/ etc. I'm not saying that's a bad thing. It's just... like... every time. It's getting creepy. But even if apparently they are very common in manga, there needs to be more male cross-dressers in real life. Hah. Don't look at me like that. You know you want to see more, too. If you're looking for a good cross-dresser manga, read Pretty Face.
Speaking of cross-dressers, my Kuja doll is done. (Have I posted an entry on that already?) I'm not going to post a picture right now, because our digital camera is out of batteries and it has sucky image quality anyway. (Plus, I said this was going to be picture-free.) Since Kuja was almost entirely hand sewn, he took a b***h of a long time. The next doll I'm making is going to be stitched with the machine. We'll see how that works out (so far it's way quicker, but I have to work out some kinks with the needle and tension (which should be easy to figure out, but not with me, because I'm retarded at sewing)). After that doll, I'm going to make a Linebeck and a Link. That will be after my money has risen from it's christmassy grave. These dolls are awesome because they don't take much fabric. Then maybe after them I'll be thinking about making a bigger, and more complex doll. Who knows who that will be. Maybe Mello!
Yeah, I'm done now.
