Trust Issue
Growing up, we're taught not to trust anyone. We're taught that advertisements are false and that when someone says something, it's not necessarily true. Like when your teacher promises the class there wont be homework tomrrow, but sure enough you go home with hours of it. Or when your best friend promises to visit, and you spend hours upon hours getting ready for this person, only to have them ditch you at the last minute. Now what are you going to do with that carefully prepared feast?

I guess this is why it's so hard to believe someone when they say, "I love you," because all you can think is, "Oh no, this is too good to be true. Hes just messing with me, it's probably just a prank."

In all reality, about half the time this thought is one hundred percent true. But what of the other fifty percent of the time?

You find someone who truly loves you for who you are, and you end up ******** everything up. Always thinking, "Oh no, I bet hes cheating on me right now" or, "Why isn't he answering his phone? Hes probably ******** the whore down the block." This can ultimately ******** up a perfect life for a person. All because you grew up with lies and distrust being thrown at your face where ever you are. Even the little things, tiny white lies, can cause an enormous amount of distrust.

Now, I know the world is full of lies, but it can't hurt to trust a little bit, right? Even if you do ultimately end up getting hurt, because it was just a prank, or because your friend had something better to do. Anything that doesn't kill a person makes them stronger, right?
