I have been writing a story called Amber for a couple of months now and I have decided to post some of it here. I would really appreciate comments. Thank You!!!
Chapter 1
A gray Chevy Mustang came to a halt at the ally of club Vectar. A place know to be famous for its involvement in the vampire society, it still attracts people of all kinds. People who would come here just to be close to vampires, but Misha wasn't like that. She came to Club Vector once every couple of months to drop off an order of drugs. If it wasn't for that, she would never set foot near this place. She hated the very thought of being near vampires and didn't under stand why people thought so highly of them. What she hated the most was when people confused her for one. Misha's hair was black, long and full. Her skin was paler than snow. Her figure was almost nothing, and if it wasn't for her wide hips and size C breast her straight and skinny body would have no curve to it. But her looks and body weren't the reason people went running when they saw her. It was the deep fiery Amber color of her eyes that sent shivers down people's spine and Misha hated them. No one would ever go near her afraid that she would suck the life out of them. And the ones who where interested always left when they found out that she wasn't what they had expected. Ready to finish the job, Misha opened the passenger side door and got out the car. “Catch you later babe.” Misha faked a smile and closed the car door. Another thing that she hated was her boyfriend's friends. Misha looked both ways down the street to make sure that she wasn't being followed or watched. With no person in sight Misha walked into the ally and knocked on the back door of the club. “Who is it?” Said the harsh manly voice from inside the club. “Its me Misha, let me in its cold out here.” Shivering, she pulled her sweater closer to her. “You got the goods?” Misha held up her backpack to the peep hole so the person on the other side could see. There was a slight pause and then came the clicking noise of the door being unlocked. A man Misha knew by the name Tojiro opened the door and stuck his head out. “Your not with the cops are you?” Tojiro said in a joking manner. “Shut up and let me in.” He smirked and open the door fully. Tojiro was a buff man who wore the scares of his mafia days on his body. Ever since Misha started delivering to club Vector she had taken a liking to him. He was like a father figure to her. “Sorry about that Misha just doing protocol.” “Yeah yeah. What ever.” Tojiro smiled and stepped aside letting Misha in. “The boss is up stairs doing some business.” She heard the door close and lock behind her. “I'll take you to the you know whats are up there waiting on the package and there not very happy. Its been two weeks since they ran out of drugs.” Misha smiled at the way Tojiro acknowledged the vampires. He never did like saying that word. “Yeah about that I've been busy.” Shaking his head Tojiro led Misha to a flight of stairs that spiraled above the dance floor. The place was as packed as ever. It never amazed her at how many people would come here, even after knowing its reputation. Almost everyone was dancing to the outrageously loud music, and the people who weren't where either making out in some corner or at the bar getting wasted. As they started to ascend the stairs she looked over the railing to make out some of the faces of the people who where there. A lot of them she had seen before, most of them where vampires and the regulars, but there where the few people who she didn't recognize. As they made there way to the top a girl from below caught Misha's eye. She looked a little unsure of her surroundings and you could tell this may had been her first time here. Suddenly a familiar face appeared that made Misha stop. It was Riku. He handed the girl a glass of what was most likely some kind of liqueur. The girl happily excepted with a big smile upon her face. Misha thought that she would probably be happy if a man as good looking as Riku would even look at her. Though when she took a sip of her drink Misha felt sorry for her. She knew that the drink wasn't drugged yet, but the girl still didn't know what she was getting herself into. “Misha. Are you okay?” Tojiro's voice tore Misha's eyes away from Riku and his potential dinner. “Yeah I'm okay, its just that you would think people would stay away from danger not run to it.” Tojiro sighed and scratched his head. “Those people down there are either obsessed or curious.” Misha looked back towards the girl but this time she found herself staring Riku in the eyes. His wicked grin stretching from ear to ear. He knew why she was here and what was in her backpack. “Curiosity killed the cat.” said Misha. Riku turned his attention back on the girl and whispered something in her ear. What ever it was it brought a even bigger smile on the girls face, and he kissed her on the cheek, before leaving her behind and heading straight towards Misha. He wasn't the only one who had noticed her. There where others headed her way. “Looks like everyone is going to be there.” Tojiro said as he also noticed the vampires headed there way. “Lets just go.” Misha said as she and Tojiro climbed the last of the spiral steps.
