Sad poems...happy? If Love is a Universal emotion, then the pain it often causes is equally Universal. Yet, that only begs the more important question: Why do sad poems and stories of emotional pain bring each of us a strange kind of pleasure? heart

	Yes. And the even more undescribable, yet all the more Universal, emotion is sadness. You need to get pleasure from pain to understand how much that pleasure might mean.
