Distance and disillusion are the meaning of life,
For we are but leaves caught in the wind,
Falling, twisting, scampering free at the last moment only to fall, defeated.

For without the wind we cannot soar, cannot fly, cannot seek a higher plain,
We are ever caught in a gale of unforseen consequences and faltered actions.
The wind lifts us above these thing, for with conformality comes peace of mind.

But those precious few of us who happen to fight against the wind,
Who seek to distance ourselves from the conformality that the countless masses seek to empower themselves upon,
Are met with hardship, hostility and hate.

Because we move against the ebb and flow we are chastized, criticized,
Mocking us still as the wind leads you away from your only true hope of happiness.
For though the wind instills temporary joy, it always ends in failure and despair.

So will you seek to flow along, letting something something else choose your fate,
Or will you master that fate, fight the wind and go where you want.
Create your own life.

Only through suffering and despair can you find true happiness.
It's just a little hard to see.
