The chance that we may go to Venezuela is increasing; momma might be getting her passport soon, so that we can travel there without any legal issues getting in our way. Rejoice! =D I'm so excited.
Well, back here in Houston, I'm volunteering to help the little kids at my church in the Vacation Bible School this summer, and I offered to be apart of the crafts committee. It's going to be so much fun! ^_____^
We're getting ready to go over to Uncle Juan's house, as Isabel and our cousin are both going to the ballet today. Awww. Isabel's going to be wearing the dress I wore to her babtism, many years ago. It's pink and flowery. ^.^
The Odyssey is driving me nuts. Doing the questions aren't even necessary, but I want to get as much schoolwork as possible done over the summer, so that TO unit doesn't require as much work. I want to, also, have enough time for the rest of my classes, which will be harder than most public school education. Gosh, wish me luck. ;______________;
I finished The Glass Castle. Homigawsh. So sad, so sweet, and so memorable. I adored it. Absolutely adored it. I recommend it to anyone, but the language (curse words, that is) is atrocious at times, so if you're sensetive to that, then, well, yeah. But it truly is incredible.
I went shopping today, at Agaci Too. I don't usually shop there, but they had such cute baby tees on sale, I just had to check it out. I bought a little green shirt with flowers and ladybugs and sparkles all over for myself, and another green shirt with white, sparkly stars on it for my cousin, Nairi, who lives in Venezuela. (We're currently on a quest for stuff we can get for the relatives we plan on visiting.)
Yesterday, I went to the zoo with Tia Valen, Giomy, Isabel, and Jimena. T'was fun; there was a little Around-the-World theme, where you had to visit a certain animal and get a stamp from one of the zookeepers on your "Passport" to ensure that you saw the animal. There were seven, for each of the continents. I love the baby elephant! 4laugh Awww.
As you probably could imagine, we came out of the place smelling like, well, animals. I was in that shower for at least thirty minutes, but I felt great when I got out. xP
Tommy's momma asked him if the reason we haven't been talking as much as usual was because of my seeing another guy. Okay, don't get met wrong: I love his mom; she's an amazing lady and I just adore her. But ... I'm offended that she would think that I'm doing anything like that.
I've been with her son for a year and a half; before we met, the both of us were such sad individuals, and now, we're happy, confident ones, with each other, and with many friends. It just saddens me that after all of the effort I've put forth to making the relationship a beautiful one--the cards, the gifts, the letter I wrote to her on her birthday--it would even cross her mind that I have my eye on someone else. In case you were wondering, I don't. I only love my Tommy.
The reason we haven't been as much lately is because he just got out of school Thursday and has had exams like crazy; I've had to babysit, I'm reading TO and doing the questions at the end of the chapter that takes me 2.5 hours every single night to complete, and I have other friends and family to attend to. I dedicate time to Tommy, yes. But time flies so fast, and we only talk for a few minutes at a time, but I treasure those minutes in hope that we can talk for hours again, on end, because I love him. I love him more than I thought I could love anyone, and it just hurts that she would think that I'm doing anything that would make Tommy question my integrity and my honesty.
