Ripple In The Water
Part One: Meeting At the Train Station
By Yuki Hanabira
Waiting for the train to arrive, The scenery seemed to come alive And even though it was a barren land I could see life in every grain of sand.
But no matter how cheerful their song I still felt that there was something wrong. It made it all seem bitter sitting all alone But then you arrived, and in the sunset shone.
I always was a silent one, hate seeping from my core, Which helped to make my conversational skills very poor. So gentle words brought out gentle smiles Making the talk surprisingly worth while.
We became friends that day at that lonely little station You came over to talk to a stranger without any hesitation. I'll thank you for the kindness you decided to lend, because I don't have a family, but atleast I have my friend.
This was only the beginning, this little meeting of ours What was in store for us, reached higher than the stars. But unfortunately for you, right now, I cannot continue However don't fret readers, I'll add to the story soon.
